I love a Series of Unfortunate Events and ofc Harry Potter and The Magic Treehouse. Those were my childhood books.

I totally forgot about the Secret Seven and Famous Five books. I read those all the time as a child.

Ohhh, I agree with @Cassidy Percy Jackson was a book I read over and I have made it my siblings childhood how too!

oh no that's horrible, I hit the jackpot with my brother, now they are the ONLY books he reads. Over and over again.

carmela | 100 comments Unfortunately I haven’t read Percy Jackson so Harry Potter really is my comfort series :) I still love it to this day and recommend it to every single kid (or even fellow teen) I meet ahaha

Yea same I haven't read the Percy Jackson series but Harry Potter is the best

Caroline Alderfer Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger. (It is a middle grade book) I love this so much and it actually is still not finished. I also read Percy Jackson for the first time 7 years ago and that really boosted me into reading.

a Enid Blyton book I always loved was The Famous Five and The Secret Seven

As for the Indian novels, Ruskin Bond's "The Road to The Bazaar", and R.K. Narayan's "Malgudi Adventures" remain my favourite comfort books!
