It seems like Are Prisons Obsolete? by Angela Davis and Love in Colour by Bolu Babalola are the two popular options hehe. Very exciting! If we want to read Are Prisons Obsolete? We can start that immediately because it is available for free online as a PDF, or if we read Love in Colour we can start reading that on 18 July to give people time to purchase the book since it’s not available for free and she’s a Black author so I do feel like we should support new Black female African authors.
For those who haven’t voted feel free to vote, but I will be doing a poll on my Instagram to see which is the most popular. I will update everybody to when our first book club meeting will be (EXCITING). It will most likely be around the beginning of August.
