Hassan | 52 comments MINECRAFT is a sandbox videgame first released released in 2009 and continues to recieve new updates.

ABOUT IT: In order to begin the game you need to click generate world. This randomly generates terrain and structures with some restriction given by codes. When first playing, you spawn in with a full health and a full hunger bar, but you have nothing in your inventory or experience bar. Health (represented by a bar of hearts) determines how many lives you have left before you die and respawn, you can regenerate health by eating. The hunger bar (represented by a bar of meat) shows how hungry you are, if the hunger bar is depleted you will start losing lives, to prevent starvation you must eat. Your inventory holds materials you've collected from either mining or crafting. Your experience bar shows how many experience points you have, you get experience points by killing mobs, mining certain marterials, or accomplishing new tasks/feats. Mobs are computer controlled NPCs that can be hostile, neutral, or passive. Mobs include: villagers, pigs, sheep, cows, spiders, zombies, skeletons, creepers, and enderman, just to name a few. When it becomes day some hostile mobs burn while others despawn. There are 3 dimensions in minecraft: The overworld, the Nether, and the End. The overworld is basically earth while the Nether is a hellish dimension filled with lava and very dangerous mobs. The End is a space like dimension that is ruled by the ender dragon. The goal of the game is to kill the Ender dragon.

GAMEPLAY: When I first played minecraft I spawned in a plains biome and I decided to make a simple home base in the dirt. Next I went to a nearby sheep flock and killed 3 with my bare hands, in return I got wool, raw mutton, and xp (experience points). Each day in minecraft (PS4 edition) is ten minutes and it became sunset so I mined a small oak tree and got 5 logs back. I went into my dirt hut and in my inventory there is a small crafting section that only allows a few things to be crafted. I turned my wood into oak planks and made a crafting table along with a bed and a pickaxe. I went to sleep in my bed and it automatically skipped to the next day. Later I mined stone, I mined coal and got xp, made a full set of stone tools, made a furnace to cook my mutton, ate some apples, and ventured out towards a nearby snowy taiga biome. I found a igloo and a nearby ravine littered with coal and iron ore. After mining and smelting I made myself a full set of iron armor along with an iron sword. I then saw a nearby pillager outpost (Pillagers are hostile mobs who attack players and raid inoccent villagers). I ventured toward the outpost but became quickly overwhelmed by enemy forces, I died. I then respawned back at my igloo and I quicly went back toward the outpost because, when you die all of your inventory and xp fall on the ground, and after some time it despawns. I regained all my stuff and quickly looted their chests which were filled with gold bars and potatoes. I ran back to my igloo and gathered my things. I ventured past the outpost and found another plains biome and also found a large village with a smithery, library, bunkhouse, and many small cottages. In the village there were blacksmiths, librarians, farmer, unemployed dimwits, and an iron golem (a large, mute, protecter that kills hostile mobs and is made of iron). I tamed a wolf/dog with some bones and built myself a 2-story castle. That concludes my experience so far.

REVIEW: I always thought minecraft was some silly game for children but during the pandamic I got bored and decided to buy a highly recomended game for my PS4. I became obsessed with the game in a matter of days since there a only a few limits to what you can do in the game. There are also different types of structures like villages, outposts, desert, jungle, and sea temples, dungeons, Nether fortresses, and End cities. ~Hassan
