Bella opened the door to her unnecessarily large room. "One second. I need to put my book away."

"No problem!" Mira said as she admired the room.

'So... how are you liking the castle." Could she be anymore awkward?

Mira smiled
"Im really liking it so far, although im probably going to be sent home during the first elimination." Mira said kinda jokingly but kinda serious

"Don't worry. I'll be going home with you," Bella joked. She didn't know how the prince would want to keep her.

"it sucks," Mira blurted outta nowhere

"this whole system sucks and its horrible what we have to do to survive in it, personally I really dont care if im picked or not im just praying that the prince will chose someone who will help him bring change." Mira said

'You would bring change," Bella said. It was true, this girl seemed like she could fix this world.

"Thank you " Mira said, it was sweet but she knew she probably wasn't right for the job. she was just to scarred to be queen

"when I was younger I absolutely loved the castes, mainly cause of my brainwashed parents."Mira said somewhat angrily/annoyed

'Really?" asked Bella. 'What caste are you?"

"Yes" Mira said shamefully. "and im in caste two, my parents basically brainwashed me, they told me the castes were there for peace and so the people could cooperate and unfortunately I believed them, then when I was ten I had made a friend, her name was Kylie, and we were inseparable for five years, unfortunately she was in a lower caste. since I was in caste two I helped her as much as I could, but she died of starvation eventually.because of that I started selling paintings to make as much profit as I could and I started giving all the money away to people from lower castes, because I realized how wrong and screwed up the castes were, mostly I gave the money to other friends I have made."

mira sighed.

"and now im freaking out because those families were barley making enough to put food on the table even when I was there, now im here In this castle for who knows how long and I have no idea what's going to happen to them."

"That is awful," Bella exclaimed

"ya it is" Mira said sadly. Mira looked at the clock in Bellas room and got up abruptly.
"Well Bella it has been so nice chatting with you but I must be going now. I hope you have wonderful rest of your night!!" Mira said in a rush.

"You too," Bella said

Mira smiled and excited the room in a rushed manner

"here's my room," Bella said to Cobie. They walked over to her bed and sat down

Cobie nodded slowly and looked around the room. "Okay," she said in a low voice. She didn't see cameras but that didn't mean they weren't here. "I wasn't kidding. Earlier."

"You weren't?"

"No. I've...I've been with them for...years now. And if you dare say anything to anyone, I swear I'll hurt you." Her eyes flashed.

Bella looked down and took a chip and ate it

"Good." Cobie nodded. "I can talk to their leader, yes."

"Then I'll kill you," Cobie answered calmly even though the thought made her feel sick and she didn't know if she actually would. "And because you told me and I think I can read people."

"Kill me?" Bella said. "Well what if you can't get me in. then what?"

"Then that's unfortunate but I won't kill you." She leaned back. She probably wouldn't kill her anyway, unless she tried to tell the prince. And even then she didn't think she would. Incapacitate her, yes. But Cobie got a thrill in threatening.

"But I think they may let you in. After lots of questioning."

'Questioning?" Bella asker nervous

"Well, duh. They're not accepting people willy Milly. If they find out you like the palace or have sympathies towards them why would never let you in. And they're not all soft people either so if you get feelings hurt easily I wouldn't join. And you have to be willing to do what they need."
