no but once in a while if there's a book that i REALLY want to annotate/highlight, then i'll buy another copy (usually paperback because it's cheaper) and annotate/highlight that one.

Ah, I only annotate my paperbacks as well :)) I just annotated Six of Crows yesterday and because it’s a paperback I didn’t feel guilty.

Yes, I absolutely love it! It’s really good <3 I like the second one a bit more but Six of Crows is still a masterpiece in my eyes

Let me do an update when I reread 😊 But I can probably say they’re my two favorite books as of now

fun fact on what happened to me yesterday: i finally ate an entire durian seed’s flesh on my own yesterday, and i’m not keen to repeat it (durian is a sort of fruit that has a pungent odour, with milkish sweet / sweet-bitter flesh)

ive heard of Durian fruits before, so is the taste really worth putting up with the smell?

hmm… i usually can’t stand durians, but surprisingly to me they don’t smell too bad? it’s more of the taste and texture of it, because it’s really soft and milky and sweet, sorta like the texture of soft serve ice cream combined with tons of butter and milk? so if you like milk, yes please try it xD but if you hAte milk on its own (like me), well you’d probably not like it xD
