WEEK TWENTY-SEVEN: Happy July, friends!

Today's chat -- signed books and rare editions! Do you own any? What would be one rare edition or signed copy that you'd LOVE to own?

I don't think I have any rare editions, but I have signed books by John Barrowman, Jack Whyte, Ashley Newell, S.K. Aetherphoxx, Clare C. Marshall, Mike Perschon, and a few local authors.

I'd love to get autographs from Gail Carriger, Terry Brooks, Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood, Cassandra Clare, and Holly Black.

Karin | 0 comments Rare books, eh? That depends on how you define rare.

We all have signed editions of my dad's memoir, but I won't mention it because TMI plus he just made stuff up or something about our family, such as a ludicrous thing about my career goals when I was a teen (I didn't go to church, was heavily into theatre, wanted to become a stage actress but he wrote that when I was in high school I wanted to be a priest...I didn't even know the church I grew up in had women priests, but they do--not RC).

Kim Hampton | 266 comments I have a ton of signed copies, but the most special to me is from a dear friend of mine, Ivan Denton. He wrote a series of children's books, and gave a signed set to my daughter when she was a baby. He's passed away now and I'm thankful to have them as a reminder of him. Ivan Denton
