I know in the Scrivener template, it has external and internal conflict on there. Don’t have to put that but it’s just a suggestions :)

That is a really good world building temp
I know! I can't take much credit, I had help from Em and writing websites but it has been very useful! I am still world-building, but I already have several things done with it.
Here are also some questions I ask myself when doing magic system development:How does magic work in your world?
Where does it come from?
Is there a language that’s needed in order to call forth magic? If so, what are its roots?
Is magic regulated in any way?
What is the governing body?
What are magicians’ status in society? Are they trusted advisors of kings or charlatans on the road?
How many magicians exist in your world?
How do they perceive one another?
Y’all don’t mind if I steal these templates right- like, hehe, imagine actually coming up with these things in your own….
This is a life saver if you are struggling with developing your plot (great for plotters or pantser!)https://www.goodreads.com/photo/user/...

I've never heard of anything like this until quite recently, and it's saved my plot!

I lied, this did not save my plot but it helped until I realized that my story has zero plot lmao.

It's alright, though because I started writing a short story that I love so much that I might just cry. I have barely started writing, and I already have the best freaking part of the climax. It's too cute:“You drove me into this life!” she screams over the roar of the waterfall, tears streaming down her face.
I step closer to her, the water coming up to my knees. “I know...and I can drive you out of it as well.”
(Our MC took her basically on a road trip that led to her breaking down, revealing her dark past which brought back her emotions and thoughts of suicide. The life she had been literally driven to was really stressful for her. ALRIGHT! I say no more.)

Omg, Jillian, you’ve reached the moment where an author starts obsessing their own work. They may be biased, but THEY CANT GET OVER HOW MUCH THEY LOVE IT!!!!!
I am so excited for this story! I have to kinda put it on hold because we have an assignment for English class where we have make and original hero and story so I am going to finish that first. I may write a full story for that one, but I'm not sure.
If I try really hard to make real short stories, they will max out at 40 pages. I have written a weird in between in the past, where it's not long enough to be a book, but it's too long to be a short story. So yeah, I really dont know!
I get that. I don’t write a TON of short stories. Usually they are for contests or school. For contests, the max is usually like around 5,000 words (super short), so that’s how long my short stories are. But for school there really isn’t a limit, and my stories end up being around 40 pages (don’t really know how many words that is)
