Academy of the Dark Ones discussion

so,

I'd like to officially do a collab,

it'd consist of seven different people, myself included.

Basically, there'd be a group of students at the school referred to as the 'seven deadly sins'. My character, Lothaire, being one of them.

I was thinking maybe there is a group of seven students at the school? They'd be referred to as the seven deadly sins (no, I don't mean the anime. I mean the actual seven sins you read about, that'd be the reference for their names rather than some anime)

But, basically,
they'd be really popular throughout the school for being the embodiment of these sins.
It's NOT an official position or anything.

ust some kind of nickname or title they've gained through all the rumors and everything. Just some kind of famed name that most students in the school would know about. (like, how you hear stuff in anime like the "prince of xx highschool" or "mad dog of xx highschool")

So, e.g. ascelin would be the sloth. He's not very active and he's very lazy for the most part. Someone who is lazy through and through, and even if he has the ability to, isn't one likely to hold out his hand to help. Rather, he would watch as you suffer. He's not very productive and if he has to do something, he'll do his best to do it in a way that doesn't require much effort.

Basically, he got his title because of how he is. It would be the same for the other six as well.

So so like, a group of infamous students (who don't have to head, but are still strong or individuals that stand out for some reason or another. Like, e.g, greed might be known for her/his cunningness and intelligence that stands out in his/her grade.)


I'll send a picture listing all the seven sins.

they don't have to be affiliated or get along or anything either.
they could even have rumors like 'greed and pride have never gotten along" or "sloth and lust have never even crossed paths before or even bother with each other" (these are just examples)


This is basically all of them. Feel free to ask any questions. And no, they wouldn't be ranked by how powerful they are or anything.
For example, in the school, Ascelin would be known as either the first or second sin as he was one of the first to gain his nickname. So, it's more of the chronological order of when they received that title. It'd have to be within their time at the school too.

those three "princes" don't necessarily know each other, but they could if you wanted them to.

someone who'd be like, the exact opposite of him. Talkative and such, someone he'd normally avoid. They'd probably have to occasionally drag him places, like class and such, but they'd be his 'friend' or something of the sort that he visibly tolerates. He would keep them around because he believes they'd be useful for whatever reason, but they'd be unaware of this reasoning ofc.

i know in the roleplay it said that ascelin was just going to marry some rando for the company but


i have completely different plans >:)

i want someone for him to slowly warm up to. Not in like, a sister way like with katniss, but where he eventually sees them in a romantic way. it'd be a slow burn, especially with his personality and everything

Maybe male? Active, well off money wise, lost his mother when he was seven because of some kind of accident, has anxiety and hates large crowds but has been taught not to show it, has panic attacks every now and then, probably blond haired, and can be kind of cocky and sarcastic with a few good traits.

YES

I feel like that might actually be a pretty good pairing. lothaire is also pretty well off money-wise and also lost his mother when he was little. He wouldn't mind the cocky attitude or the sarcasm and isn't the type to stick around crowds unless he has to. He's not very active ( i go into further detail about why this is the case in his headcanons on my character thread ). They have a lot in common (despite probably seeming like being the total opposites of each other) and I feel like there could be a lot of angst and fluffiness >:)

I'm so glad you think so. I'm kind of thinking that is family is well off because his mother was either a politician or she owned a very wealthy business but after she passed, the family had to spend a lot of money on medical bills and such, maybe slowly they start losing their money because someone in the family business isn't doing what their supposed to with the bank checks. I'm not sure yet. I kind of had an idea, I might make him either a musician (which would probably be frowned on in his family) or sporty person. Yes, I feel like there would be a lot of fluffiness :)

- completely idolizes caledonia
- often overworks herself

what i need

vice of the planning committee
they'd naturally be close as they'd have been working together for a while now. since they'd be working in close proximity, they'd also know more about aster and her habits than most students who know of her. such as her habits to overwork herself and completely disregard sleep, how irritable and snappy she can truly get, and some of her more unfavorable habits such as her sadistic nature and desire to tease others.
- probably would often mention that aster isn't as nice as she seems. someone who would probably do their best to save her victims by warning them beforehand of her behavior.
(view spoiler)[aster doesn't enjoy hurting people. at least, not that much. but she does tease people and enjoy seeing them flustered and squirm before her. she refers to them as 'cute' and often jokes around about how she needs 'prey' and without them, she'll die of 'lack of nutrients.' often complains about having to suppress her urge to mess with the cuter students. this is also why she'd get extremely flustered when she gets actual reactions from people like Caledonia, as it's too 'cute'. the vice would be one of the few people who actually know of her true nature. a crush
aster's the type to like a lot of people as long as they give good reactions. but this crush of hers would probably be someone who doesn't react too much but still someone that she is around a lot. she enjoys trying her best to get reactions from them but does actually work well with them. probably someone who finds her agitating or something of the sort. ( by not react much, i mean like, getting flustered and everything. they could be flirty or even calm and collected )
- unrequited love
- ( whoever makes this one, i want to make it as painful as possible for her. it'd be someone she'd have known for a while but might like someone else maybe? )
- Basically, they'd be friends and co-workers.

crush 2
someone who likes her but she doesn't really notice. they'd work closely together as well, so probably someone from the student council or planning committee.
- i was hoping this one could actually develop into something. extreme angst and fluffiness.

puppy crush
- caledonia. it's not like, a proper crush or anything like that. but she admires her and looks up to her. since she enjoys watching other people's reactions, when caledonia reacts in an expected way, aster gets pretty flustered. she also finds caledonia to be insanely pretty so. it's kind of like, how someone would view a celebrity or bias though. there are no actual romantic feelings or intentions involved. while she does think about caledonia a lot, she doesn't have any intentions on actually falling for her or anything as she doesn't actually 'love' her or feel anything romantic towards her. this would be for Elizabeth, if she'd be willing to let me do this.

so
vice, crush 1, and crush 2 would all be collabs that require them to be in student council and/or planning committee. they'd be co-workers that she spent a lot of time with over the past three years, so naturally they became semi-close over time.
I do eventually want to let aster be semi-happy with someone, but i want her to suffer first, hence crush 1 lol.

tbh, from reading her thing, it's kind of hard to tell. especially since sometimes these sins can basically go hand in hand. but uh, maybe vanity?

while her jealousy is mentioned in her profile, a lot of it seems more like she's mostly vain.
