We're in the middle of the SUMMER OF GENRES! After you chose a fantasy book for June and I learned so much that would help with my writing, I thought it would be great to try different genre-specific craft books and see what we can learn from each other.
Normally, I give you the option of what to read each month, but this time around I made an executive decision for Mastering Your Mystery: Write, Publish, and Profit with Your Mysteries & Thrillers by Cheryl Bradshaw. I haven't read it, but I'm hoping that we can learn some really great stuff from it.
I'll be posting a poll pretty soon to see which genre we want to tackle next. After those results are in, I'll be asking for any recs that you may have. It's going to be a great time and I hope you're ready for the fun!
If you celebrate, Happy 4th of July weekend! And if not, I hope you're having a great weekend!
