The goddess of Innocence stood by the stairs, her sparkling pink hair trailing down her back in loose waves now. She had changed from her ball gown into a simple white gown with billowing sleeves that fell to the floor. Astraea looked like the epitome of innocence, sweet and vulnerable and completely unaware of the chaos that had occurred inside the ball. She stared out into the depths of her peaceful realm, bathing in the serene silence of it all. It was so beautiful. She smiled to herself, relaxation coming over the goddess. She had done good, letting the citizens of the realms bond in the ball.

The Shrike let out a high pitched screech nearby, breaking most of the glass nearby as it ran through a nearby wall and into somebody, ripping them apart in seconds before quickly looking around, spotting the goddess. "WhAt Do We HaVe HeRe?" It hissed out.

Astraea looked up, still as serene as ever. She reached her hand out to the creature. Though she was a goddess she was rather gullible and trusting, being the goddess of Innocence after all. “Hello there little monster.. Are you enjoying the ball darling?” The goddess didn’t know she was in danger and if she was to be maimed during her encounter with this strange creature, the innocence and peace in the realms would be disturbed and chaos would ring through the realms and eventually destruction would come.

The Shrike tilted its head slightly, confused why the being in front of it was not running for its life. Then a massive spike rammed through the stairs right under her, it was moving incredibly quick and it was big. "SoRrY i'M hUnGrY, aCe LoPpEd OfF mY hEaD."

“You poor soul… What is it that youd like to eat?” She asked with kindness in her voice. She smiled up at the fearsome creature, patting one of it’s spikes. Astraea was unaware of how much danger she was in but of course that came with being the epitome of Innocence. It was only then that she noticed the blood staining the floor of the stairs and the dead bodies. Astraea’s hand shook slightly as she stared at them with horror. “What… What happened?”

"I hApPeNeD." It let out a terrible cackle as spikes shot out from its body, killing the ones who survived that were visible to it, including most of the healers. It tilted its head as the spike from below flew upwards right at her. (Wanna have her get impailed but live?)

Mazo was at the top of the stairs, watching. She was unsure of what to do, she knew she couldn't beat the thing and she couldn't flee if it came after her, however it was busy with Astraea so she could run, but she couldn't.

irene walked down the stairs, what remained of them anyway, and saw the Shrike creature "what is happening here?" she asked and looked dead at the Creature

Astraea didn't even get a chance to react before the Shrike's spike pierced through her chest, just inches from her heart. She couldn't even scream. As the blood stained her pure white dress, it seemed as if the air in the Realms had gone still. The skies became dark.. darker than the night. Pitch black with red clouds staining them. It was as if the innocence and peace in the Realms had been extinguished. The guards banged on the doors at the top of the stairs, desperate to save the Goddess. She looked at the Shrike. She didn't even have the time to attack before it had injured her. She coughed, blood coming up from her throat. She touched her hand to her wound, looking at the blood dripping down her fingers. The goddess' eyes widened as the life dulled in her eyes and she fell to the ground, falling down the stairs and laying still in a heap at the bottom.

The Shrike ran off, assuming the goddess dead. It ran on all limbs for speed, it was toying with the survivors, picking them off one by one so that eventually there would be 1 person left who it would allow to flee.

irene looked at the creature then the goddess on the ground and walked towards the Goddess of innocence but kept eye's on the creature

irene was right next to the Goddess, picked her up, which she was very light to irene and started to walk towards the door, looking at all the bodies that lay on the ground by the Creature poor souls I wish the magical creatures didn't kill anyone she thought to herself and looked at the creature as she past by it>
