I love Beetle & the Hollowbones :>
It seems like you like classics. Classics I like are “A Little Princess, What Katy Did” and some more classics that hadn’t got into my head at the moment.

I do have Wuthering Heights but never got the chance to read it! I'll try getting my hands on Little Princess

I think I mainly have 4 authors
Rick Riordan. His books are just so good and his characters are always so real. Not to mention his female characters are fantastic.
Mary Pope Osborne. She wrote the Magic Tree House series, which is an adventure/historical fiction/time travel/fantasy series for elementary school children. This is the series that got me into reading because for a while (I'd say about 4 years), I hated reading. Those books started my journey from reading maybe 10-20 books to about 2500.
Robert J. Blake is another. He's a children's author-illustrator who illustrates using oil. One of my favorite books he did (also the first I read of his), was about Togo and the 1925 serum run to Nome (the one Balto was involved in, and the dog the movie Togo was based on; really great movie).
My last is probably Brian Selznick. He's another author-illustrator who is best known for being awarded the Caldecott medal award for his chapter book The Invention of Hugo Cabret, which was the first chapter book to ever get the honor.
My favorite books are all the main ones these authors wrote as well as a couple others, including but not limited to, Pride and Prejudice, An Ember in the Ashes, Frostblood, On the Fence, and Six of Crows.

Yeah. At first, I’m not so enthusiastic. I only read the first 2 books and left the collection for 2 YEARS until I started reading it again.

I own Stage Fright on a Summer Night as well. A paperback copy. A couple of my favorites are Eve of the Emperor Penguin and Monday With a Mad Genius (I love art history and da Vinci). I wish I had all of them. I got a lot of the Merlin Missions (before they reprinted them and made them two separate series thingies) for Christmas one year, probably back in I want to say 2012 or something. It was the same year my parents bought my sister an entire Jane Austen collection. When I can, I'd love to buy all of them, including a couple of the special editions and reprinted color illustrated ones.

My favorite author is Jacqueline Wilson. She wrote a lot of children’s books that I particularly enjoy. Well, I also have other fav authors (of course) but she’s my favorite. Also, check out the group photos. Book nerds can be a bit too addicted with books…
