I'm quite active, pretty much every day

Yes, I am over the age of 10

3) What do you think you could contribute to the group?
I think I could help set up different readathons and challenges, plus help with generally making sure people follow rules.

1. I’m very active in this group. I’ve made about 300 comments so far and I’ll probably be even more active once the school year ends. I’m always on here at least once a day.

3. I could help to keep threads active and I’d also love to be in charge of welcoming new members, and making sure they know what to do. Also games! I’ve now had a look and some have been dead for like 7 months. I’ll definitely help keep them active and maybe add some new ones? And just generally make sure people follow the rules.

1) How active are you in the group?
I am on goodreads literally every single day for hours, even when I shouldn't be (let's face it, especially when I shouldn't be) and I joined this group pretty much right when it started last year, so -
extremely. I have the 11th most comments in this group and that's with my new account. This is the group that I have the most comments in. A lot of my friends are in this group, so it makes sense that I talk a lot here. Also the three nooks that I run. And the spamming.

2) Are you over the age of 10?
Yes, I'm fifteen. I'll be sixteen in a few months.

3) What do you think you could contribute to the group?
I would probably be best at helping with setting up challenges and polls and stuff, but I'd honestly be good with anything. I'm also pretty good with html if that ever comes in handy.
I was thinking we should have a writing discussion topic, so I have a few ideas for that too. This would be for sharing writing, asking for feedback, talking about writer struggles, plots and character development techniques. I feel like it always helps when I talk to my friends about stuff that I'm struggling with.
And then I have a few random ideas that aren't really fleshed out so I don't know how to share them yet, so I'd have to figure out where they would fit and how to work those out.
Since I've been in this group from the beginning I pretty much know the themes of it and how the discussions are set up, so I think I wouldn't have much of a problem helping to create new topics or coming up with challenge ideas. I'm also friends with all of the current mods, so communication wouldn't be a problem.
I'm a mod in several other groups, so I'm familiar with the responsibilities, and I know most of the active people in this group.
This group is literally personal to me. I've made almost all of my goodreads friend group here and I've shared a lot of random (and immature, and personal, and stupid shit in this group that will probably stop me from getting accepted into any colleges if they actually do look at all your online activity and everything that you post).
So. Basically, I think I would be good at keeping this group running (not that it really needs my help for that) and coming up with new ideas for it if you want to do that.

I'm very active in this group. When it comes around exams times, though, I'll have to get off. I'm pretty much on here 24/7. I've been a member since 2020 and I had the 7th most comments, but I deleted my account due to parentals. Now I have 2,820 comments. :)

2) Are you over the age of 10?

Oui oui. I've [technically] lived for 14 years [Think very carefully about that statement], but I am 13 years old.

3) What do you think you could contribute to the group?

Promoting the group, setting up new topics, and having ideas for readathons/new activities. I could clean up any inactive/rarely used topics and maybe organize some things. I have some new ideas for this group: New topics for musical artists, a book recommendation topic where anyone could post recommendations, and more :)
I've modded in several past groups, ranging from bookish groups, music-related groups, and even RolePlay groups. I'm also pretty familiar with Bitchreads' topic limit [🥲🤡] so when setting up new Readathons and topics, I have alternative accounts in which I could set them up via those accounts, and make the most of the topics.

Bonus: I want to be a mod in this group because I really love this group. I've watched it thrive, and I've found soooo many new friends. I was in a bad place before this group, and with it it's helped me a lot. I found a family here when my blood family wasn't there for me. I love y'all so much and I want to help this group grow <3333 There are a lot of amazing people applying, and I wish y'all the best of luck. Thank you for considering me :)

I'm very very active in this group (it's the group I'm most active in out of all of my groups by a landslide.) I've been here since nearly the beginning when it started, and I have the 9th most amount of comments in the group, which is currently 6587 comments. I love participating in discussions, whether it be nooks or bookish topics, so I'm active in a lot of them.

2) Are you over the age of 10?
Yes, I'm over the age of 10.

3) What do you think you could contribute to the group?
I think that I can help with keeping other discussions active, promoting the group, coming up with new discussion ideas, readathons, challenges, polls, and more. I have a lot of experience being a moderator, as I'm currently a moderator of multiple active groups, and have been a moderator of a lot of groups in the past. I know how moderator duties work and things like how to keep groups active, so I guess I have some experience.
Since I'm pretty opinionated and generally tend to be disappointed by overhyped books, I was thinking that maybe we could add an Unpopular Opinions folder? I know we already have a discussion, but it would be fun to have a whole folder for unpopular opinions about other things as well, not just bookish related - a place where people could share controversial thoughts / opinions without being judged.
Another idea I had were fanart competitions. There are a lot of artists in this group, and I thought it would be really fun to set up fanart competitions for people to have fun with it and for new artists to try their hand at art. We could even do themed fanart challenges once in a while, or from specific books and series. There are a lot of possibilities.

This group means so, so much to me. I remember when we started out as a little community, when we reached 200 or 300 members and celebrated. Our small group of readers has turned into a group of 3000+ members since then. Wow.
I've met the majority of my closest goodreads friends on here, even started other groups from this, and have essentially poured my heart out to random internet strangers which is super fun. I have a family and have met some the best friends in my life on this group and that's part of what's so special about it. I've loved watching this group grow, and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Hi, that’s not actually true. We’re constantly on the lookout for mods, and you can still send in applications.

i could do a monthly book challenge, as well where members could write down what books they read and how they met prompts to be given points. just generally make a more engaging community i guess. i honestly just love reading and recommending books to people!
