Hey! What’s your favorite genre? Mine is fantasy and fiction!

Mostly fantasy, but I'll read pretty much anything. Fantasy tends to take up the majority of my books though, except for picture books, which I love to read because I want to be an author-illustrator.

I also want to be an author! But not an illustrator though because I pictures aren’t meant for books anyway.

Cool! =D What about picture books? That's what I mean when I say author-illustrator. I want to write Middle Grade and YA novels, as well as write and illustrate my own picture books for children.

I thought about that when I was very little, but when I got a bit older, I saw that my pictures are not the right standard.

At the moment, mine aren't where they want to be either, but it was the career path I chose as an infant. I always went around telling my family, "I'm an artist" instead of "I want to be an artist" like most kids. I didn't know the name of what I wanted to be until I was about 9. Then, it just became what I wanted to do. I hope it pans out well. With how broad artwork can be for picture books nowadays, I'm sure there's a space for mine =D I hope you get to become a successful writer.

I've published a short story onto my blog, and I have about 44 WIPs for books (including novels, picture books [sans pictures], and middle grade books), but no, I haven't published any of them yet. I'd be willing to share some, but I'm not a published author yet. What about you?
