Well, all plots need conflict, so there will always have to be some sort of angst or misunderstanding but I would recommend Betty Neels. Most of her books have that steady quiet feel to them. Although her heroes are often Alpha males. Here's a list https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2...

Helen Brooks writes very romantic books with only a little angst and her Hero's are Alpha but usually very besotted with their h.
What about something like Forever by Lynn Turner. H is definitely alpha, but he thinks h is a nun. It's very much about relationship building, not jealousy.
Not sure if they are hp books but Anne Marie Winston has written a number of books with minimal to no OW drama. Her westerns are similar to Susan Fox.

I am looking for books that are focussed on the h and H, simple courtship sort of story. Of course HP without a twist is impossible, so maybe books with minimal angst.
Books like Gentle Deception where the hero is more beta, and the angst is non drama kind.
