I was suspicious of Kemp. It was obvious that he was into something. I didn't think it was the time to talk to Roman about Kemp. He blocks everything Gus tries to do. Before the big pow wow, I hoped that Connor was on Gus' side, then I realized he blocked her too. The click was too tight. It surprised me since Gus was a part of the group for a long time.At the point where Gus became suspicious none of the PG were ready for her to be involved.

They weren't taking any of Gus's thoughts seriously enough at that time - pretty condescending even though she was so highly regarded in her position.
Connor took Gus seriously, very much so. But his loyalties were with his friends. If she had confided in him, he would have pursued on his own. But, no way should she have shared this with Roman! He would have definitely blocked her.
I think that Connor took Gus seriously but he would always be loyal to his friends. I agree, Jonetta. I think if she had told him, he would have looked into it himself.
I definitely shared their concerns. I don't know if it would have made a difference if Gus had shared her concerns with Conner or not. I think she should have regardless of the outcome. The goal was to protect the President, but Gus lost sight of that in her quest to solve Mad's murder.
Gus’s first allegiance was to her friend…Maddox. That characteristic came through loud and clear.
But Anita you’re right. When you work for the President, your first allegiance should be to that office. I gave her a pass since she was suspicious of Zack having something to do with Maddox’s “death.”

Gus's suspicions about Kemp were completely warranted. In fact, even though his actions turn out to be positive, he was still violating his oath to protect Zack by working with Maddox. As to whether Gus should have told, she suspected Kemp might be doing Zack's bidding (he did work for him after all), so it was the smart move to keep it to herself.
