I thought this was the best of the series so far, but that is probably because we are getting so much more information about the mystery. Also, Gus and Roman are probably the two most volatile characters in the series, so their romance was bound to be interesting.
I liked this one too. I don't want the series to end, I've really enjoyed these books. Do the authors have another series like this one?

I think Shayla meets with Lexi later in the summer to discuss collaborations. They go over their publishing schedules to see how much time they both have to fit in another series. (If I remember correctly.)
Shayla has the Wicked & Devoted series.
Her Wicked Ties series is Romantic Suspense, but I consider it more erotica with some suspense.
I don't think the other series have a series arc like this one except Wicked & Devoted. There is another series that was a prequel but I can't remember the name maybe Devoted Lovers.
I am enjoying this series immensely but mainly for the mystery. I love following the clues and developing theories about what is going on. The romances are OK, but each has its issues. The heroes are particularly problematic but even the heroines have their flaws.
I agree with you. I wasn't that crazy about the first two romances, but Holland & Dax and Roman & Gus are much better. However, the series mystery makes stories.
I've read quite a bit by both of these authors and their collaboration series before this one (Masters of Menage). But none had an ongoing mystery like this one. I hope they do another that is similar. The only one similar to this is Lexi Blake's Masters & Mercenaries: The Forgotten where there is an ongoing mystery involved. But it's a spinoff from her Masters & Mercenaries series.
