For a book that's already been released I'm still looking forward to For the Wolf by Hannah F. Whitten (I'm 4th in line at the library) and for a book that will be released soon I'm looking forward to A Spindle Splintered by Alix E. Harrow (cause I LOVED The Once and Future Witches)
An Inconvenient Minority: The Harvard Admissions Case and the Attack on Asian American ExcellenceCame out a couple of days ago and I'm really looking forward to reading it after I've read:
Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters
and then:
American Marxism
So many good books came out already and a load of other good stuff coming out in the second half of the year. RIP my bank account.
There are too many to list them all... I have a few on hold at the library, but my number is so high that it might be next year before it is my turn. 😀 There is one, A Distant Grave by Sarah Stewart Taylor that I gave up waiting and bought. For the Wolf is also near the top of my list of eagerly awaiting. Ooh, and Firekeeper's Daughter... And Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse. And...
I'm going for TBR books, one a month, with others interspersed throughout each month. The only certain is July: Les Miserables. Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec: Anyone of the following. Nightmares and Dreamscapes, The Shell Seekers, The Count of Monte Cristo, 11/22/63, The Name of the Wind.
The Engagement Cover by A.M. Heath is coming out November 1, but since I'm editing it, I'm reading it now!
