I'm on so many platforms it's ridiculous at this point. I've recently started a blog where I'm posting my Goodreads reviews. Also have Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Bookbub accounts. The only platforms I haven't ventured into yet are tiktok and YouTube. Mainly because as a non native English speaker, my spoken English is a lot more rusty than my writing.I'm as multicolored book reviews everywhere
Majority here on GR but I do occasionally write one on Amazon if the book is so horrific it warrants a warning for others. But majority is on GR. Which is good since lately I’m in a writing reviews burnout. Multiple platforms would take more effort to do/keep up with. Really trying to unplug from all social media. Manly because the first thing all of them tell me is that I have no friends. 😬
Ditto for most of what Cozen said. Have only recently spent enough that amz 'allow'🙄 me to post reviews and so far have only done a few there. I just copy and paste for the main - apart from having to censor language which I am really pissed off about as I do use the occasion F word when 'needs must' 😅.I've been toying with the idea of a blog for ages, but it seems like so much hassle and if you want to own your content you have to pay for the domain- is what I understand as the free ones actually own it? I think that I may go for this at some stage though.
I have tried out a few of the newer reading apps/sites but the range and features on offer are just so far off what GR has that despite my hatred of amz, the fact they own GR AND that there are so many damn problems that never get resolved here, this is still the foremost review site no matter what anyone says.
And as for others - I have no bandwidth left for all that! I'm a lurker on others to 'follow' convos and remain in the know. I don't actively engage on any of them on a personal level or otherwise other than a few closed author/reader pages on FB where I chat with other readers and the authors on occasion.
I only post on GR, though if I love a book, I might rave about it on Twitter or IG, though I don't do a full-on review. Part of me feels bad I don't do Amazon reviews, because those help authors the most. But, I go to GR to read reviews and not Amazon, so there's that. I didn't know you couldn't swear in Amazon reviews. *eye roll*

I feel the same about amz reviews which is the only reason why I've started posting a few there. I am very anti but I can't live without KU as I read so many indie authors.
And yep, the language police came after me when I tried to post a couple of reviews with 'profanity' in them so I had to change the wording... It IS eye rolling considering a lot of stuff that gets past their censors.
I post reviews on my website, Instagram, FB , Pinterest, Twitter, Amazon, GoodReads, and sometimes book bup.
