V walked down the hall, holding her head up high, she just passed her exam with an A and was feeling a little too proud of herself.

Kasandra tossed her backpack over her shoulder and closed her locker door.
' I hate those dam* quiz's ' thought

V saw Kasandra, their lockers are next to each others; "Hey... how'd the test go?" she asked, not able to help but glow a little.

Kasandra looked V up and down quickly
'she obviouslly Ace'd the test' she thought
"fine, just fine" she said sarcasticlly
"hey you wouldn't happen to know my combo?" she asked

V couldn't help but laugh, "Did you forget it?"

"No..." Kasandra said lamely. after a few moments
"yea...just whatever. do you remember it?!"

V shook her head, "Sorry I don't... but..." she opened her own locker, and pushed everything to one side; then she banged on the side along with the front at the same time. Kasandra's locker popped open.

"thanx" she said putting her books inside
"now how to lock it..." she said taking out next classes books.

"That's an easy one... close the locker." she laughed, "It'll click right back into place and be locked... then just when you need in again get me and I'll open it... well you should actually get your combo from the secretary... that'd be best..."

Kasandra closed her locker, it clicked
"cool" she said looking at V "what's our next class?" she asked
"I never keep up with those things."

V rolled her eyes, "Come on." she grabbed Kasandra's wrist, and dragged her to physical education.

Kasandra began to Remember the route the where traveling
"oh god where going to physical Ed." she made a big sigh

"Everyone needs to be active... even if it means class humiliation..." V stopped, remembering the happenings of yesterday; "I... I..." she couldn't speak, couldn't move.

Kasandra smiled " she then reversed the situation dragging V "some one once told me Every one need to be active. Even if it means humiliation"

"N.. no.... not after yesterday... I can't go back..." she objected, and nearly ran out when they made it to the locker rooms. Someone threw a roll of toilet paper at V, she looked at Kasandra, then ran into the bathrooms.

Kasandra sighed then walked into the bathroom "don't be so dramatic" she said looking under stalls.

"I'm not being dramatic." V protested, hiding in one of the showers; "I can't show my face back out there.."

Kasnadra heared her from the last stall and walked to it "If any one walks up to you talking crap just jack them n the face" she said making a punching motion

V stuck her teary-eyed face from the stall, "Will you stay with me?"

Kasandra paused before saying anything
"Yea"

"Thank you..." V moved from the stall and hugged Kasandra, then moved to her gym locker.

"good, lets head out" she said heading towards the door

She followed closely behind Kasandra, "Just so we get this straight, I'm not a baby."

Kasandra turned around slowly "ofcourse not sweetie" he turned back around and walked out of the bathroom swinging the door.

V followed, a little irritated at the sarcasm in her voice; she just hated doing wrong, and hated when others pointed it out... daily.

Kasandra walked down the hall to the locker rooms "sorry Ms.Gregory I got a little-
"get dressed miss wright" Ms.Gregory looked at V
"you too" she said then walked towards her office

V bowed her head in shame, "I'm sorry I got you in trouble Kasandra." then she ran to get dressed.

Kasandra looked at the stares and walked to her locker.

V kept her eyes low, occasionally glancing at Kassandra to make sure she was still there and didn't leave. Then she felt a hand on her shoulder, someone flipped her around and slammed her against the lockers.

Kasadra turned towards the bang "what the h*ll!" she said

V stared in the eyes of Felicia ((school bully from when I was in middle school)), she sneered at her, "You scared narc?"

"come on Felica!" Kasandra said "back off!"

Felicia looked to Kasandra, "Back off c*** before I pound your face in, I have some unfinished buisness to attend to."

Kasandra grabbed her shoulder and yanked it back followed by a hard punch to the face.

Felicia grabbed her jaw in pain as the teacher walked out; she pointed to Kasandra and V, then ran off gripping the jaw. "Both of you, to the principle's office, NOW!"

Kasandra looked at V then Back at he Teacher. Kasandra walked slowly past the teacher the into her office.

V followed her to the principles, feeling like she would cry at any second.

Kasandra walked into the office and sat down the principle close behinde.

V sat down, and the principle shut the door.
"I am dissapointed in both of you, especially you Vannesa, I thought etter of you."

Kasandra began to speak "she started it and I finished!"
"Ms.Wright shut your mouth!" the teacher said

"She's telling the truth though!"
"Silence!"

Kasadra gave the teacher a "I'd like to fight you" look and shut up
"Vannesa" the tacher said turning her head towards V "now I ddn't really see you throw any punches but your not gonna get off easy" she paused "three day Suspension." she said quickly
"you cant do that I'm the one who punched the beast"
"I havent finished!"
Kasandra shut her mouth thinking about what her punishment was going to be
"Starting a fight throwing a punch, what do you think your punishment should be?"
"uh, I don't know. Nothing!"
"No not exactly Ms. Wright. Two week Suspension. starting tomorrow"
"That's crazy"
"No Ms. Wright that a lesson Thats well needed"

Kasandra walked out of her office and turned towards V "Great my Mom's gonna kill me" Kasandra sighed

V crossed her arms, "This is SO unfair, we didn't even DO anything!" She looked to Kassandra, "I'm sorry..."

"V, it's ok just calm down. I would have hit her sooner or later."

"It's hard to calm down when my friend gets suspended for sticking up for me!"

"just drop it. I say we cut school early" Kasandra said looking down the hall way.

((and if they were suspended they would be going home, they wouldn't be finishing school that day))
