I have been hunting for a copy of the Complete Slayers without any luck for a long time. They never come up for sale but I never realised they were so expensive. Way out of my budget for 1 book, that's for sure.
I found a lot of copies available for under $10, including shipping, available at the website https://www.bookfinder.com/. I recommend searching on the isbn number 9780887390777 to avoid irrelevant hits.Edit: Oh, never mind. That's just Seven Slayers. Yeah, the Complete Slayers is out of print. I don't see a copy available for less than $648.
Will check it out : You said $600 and I was searching on amazon and ebay?
Just checked, that is Seven Slayers, I have that, I wanted The Complete Slayers with the extra stories in it I had not read.

Just ran a check, £500 to £750, no thanks, my wife would kill me! :)

This very impressive publishing company prints some of the most expensive books around, but they're worth it. The production values are the best and the books seem to increase in value 50-100% annually. What other investment can you make that brings in that kind of return?
If you look through their site you will find a number of our authors there. That just goes to show how cutting edge our group is. We're small, just 38 members, but we're so ahead of our time in our recognition of how classic this literature is. Readers in future years are going to wish they had heard about us and joined when we were happening! You're in on the ground floor.
Check out those Cornell Woolrich titles. If you had purchased a copy of the book that contains next month's read, among others, The Complete Slayers: Fast One and the Complete Short Stories of Paul Cain when it was printed in 2012 you would have paid $100. Now you can't find even a used copy for under $600.
