I found my old spreadsheet from last year. Let me see if I can clean it up and we can use that one unless someone else already made one or is opposed to it.
Here is the updated sheet for this year. The only thing I think may be off is the calculation of points as I think they are doubled now but it's not as big a deal as tracking the letters so feel free to change if anyone can figure it out! Everyone should be able to edit but let me know if you run into any problems.

I love it, Crystal. Can you put the first board in though. Our first book to spell out is Am I Normal Yet? (The Spinster Club #1) by Holly Bourne

Checking in!I'm gonna be reading at least these books for August:
This is my first time participating in the Wheel of Fortune challenge so apologies if I take some time to get used to the mechanics.
I'm starting with these books for August. I read about 2 books a day so I'm going to give a couple that I'm starting.
Let me know if anyone wants to buddy read anything. 2 are group buddy reads already but Across the Universe and A Reaper at the Gates are not.
Thank you for the Spreadsheet! :)Also, I was wondering, since buddy reads seem to be encouraged, it would be ok for several people of one team to read the same book and use it for different letters or would it still only be one letter for one book?

Yes, you can all read the same book and buddy read it and then use it for different letters ☺ Hopefully one book would work for more than one letter as you can choose the letter from anywhere in the title/author's name/series name ☺

So guys I have some super exciting news. My boyfriend just proposed to me today so I'm now engaged!!!!! I'm so excited and super happy!!
Hey team, just a heads up, I'll be minimally active this week because i have exams, but I'll be reading afterwards!
I can't believe I completely forgot to post my TBR, but here it is! Most are BRs, so if you want to join in, let me know!
Hey team I'm going to try and read some books for the minute I'm totally into Comics so I will try and do both because I know that doesn't bring us a lot of points
I'm going to read these books in the month I hope, but I'm not exactly sure how long each is going to take me:
Let me know if anyone wants to join in on a book :) - The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a planned BR in this group.
I'm also thinking of joining the group BR for
About to post my second book for today. Might get lucky and finish a third. I'm doing a completely different challenge and I'm definitely reading more this month.
I just got some audio holds in for these:
Would anyone want to buddy read these in the next 2 weeks?
Should we wait to put things on the spreadsheet until they are actually read and posted??Also, how are people figuring out the points? I just looked at it and it looks like some might be given illustrated rates...
I like that idea Brandee. And the points are as follows. *50 - 99 pages = 1 points
*100 - 149 pages = 2 point
*150 - 199 pages = 3 points
*200 - 249 pages = 4 points
*250 - 299 pages = 5 points
*300 - 349 pages = 6 points
*350 - 399 pages = 7 points
*400 - 449 pages = 8 points
*450 - 499 pages = 9 points
*500 - 549 pages = 10 points
*550 - 599 pages = 11 points
*600+ pages = 12 points
And the letter points are the same as page points. So basically page points doubled.
I’m going to wait to claim a letter until I write my review and post. It will be easier and possibly faster to get through that way. Yeah, the scoring is not accurate at all, it’s from last year and when you add in caveats like illustrated rates and poetry etc it works even less… I can take it off the spreadsheet if it’s annoying lol Edit…. I’ll see if I can get it to score correctly tomorrow!
I just looked at the rules though and it said there are different minimums for YA (200 pages), Middle Grade (300 pages), and Illustrated (600 pages) so I think some of what has already been posted (mine included possibly) won't even count for a letter...
I guess we can ask Sarah and see what she says. All my books I know count but there are a couple I'm unsure of.
Natalie and I could probably combine ours if need be but that will be less letters. I think we just need to know exactly how scoring works so we can plan accordingly
I agree. Can we go ahead and take books off the spreadsheet that aren't finished? So we have an actual idea of the letters we have done
