I have no idea how to officially join in or navigate through but I’ll be reading “ Angel falls” . Tips will be greatly appreciated.
Beverly, those participating will post messages about the book after they’ve finished reading the story. Feel free to share whatever you’d like. We’re pretty informal here.

When I saw this month's title I figured I re-read it, but once I started, I realized I've never read Angels Fall. What a fun surprise! I enjoyed the story, and loved the setting. The mountains are like balm for my soul...even reading about them. There was a good mystery in this story, though I found some of the "pranks" to frighten Reece oddly childish, though I guess that was the point—make her think she's going crazy. The characters were very likable, all with unique personalities that kept them interesting. A very good read!
This is one of my all-time favorite Roberts novels. Sometimes I find her heroes just a little too perfect, so I liked Brody's cranky edge. I'm forgetting the name of the restaurant owner's son, but his character hasn't aged all that well, but that's one of my few criticisms of this book.

I'm just over halfway through and listening to the audio. It's been a while since I listened to Joyce Bean, but she is doing a good job with the voices. She delivers Brody's cranky one-liners with aplomb. Brody is definitely a different type of hero for Nora. I found it difficult to like him at first because of his abrasive personality, but I'm warming up to him now because it is clear that he truly cares about Reece and believes in her. He doesn't pity her and he is exactly what she needs.
This is a re-read for me, so I know who the villain is but it is fun retracing the journey.
I finished and enjoyed the re-read. Did anyone else think that the book needed an epilogue with the reactions of all of the other characters to the revelation of the killer? I really wanted them all to acknowledge that Reese was telling the truth and not losing her mind. Also, I wanted Debbie to get a strong dose of reality.
This is in my top five NR books. I reread it annually. Reece is such a great character. I felt a connection to her right off. Brody is gruff but exactly what Reece needs and love the immediate belief he has in her. I agree with Lauren, I wish there had been a follow up with the town. A vindication for Reece. In my head there was one. Lol

By the time Reece reaches a gruff loner named Brody farther down the trail, the pair is gone. And when authorities comb the area where she saw the attack, they find no trace that anyone was even there.
No one in Angel’s Fall seems to believe Reece—except Brody, despite his seeming impatience and desire to keep her at arm’s length. When a series of menacing events makes it clear that someone wants her out of the way, Reece must put her trust in Brody—and herself—to find out if there is a killer in Angel’s Fall, before it’s too late.
