"A Tale of Rural Unease" is the subtitle and it's an understatement. This was creepy in story and art, but ultimately uplifting and I quite enjoyed it.
Two criminals on the run wind up in a dead end small town periodically covered in a noxious fog. The woman exerts an extreme influence on several men, including the local priest. A pair of local teens, best friends (at least) who have both lost their mothers, join forces with some wise women to try to stop the evil influence.
