Reggia | 2590 comments Wonder if anyone can help me with Kindle as I've already searched online, and my question doesn't seem to be answered anywhere.

I can't figure out how to access Collections AFTER adding book titles to it. I'm utilizing Collections as this particular Kindle was given to me by a friend more than 5 yrs ago. Her collection of 600 books is still on there, while I have only added about 8. Our tastes are quite different, and I wanted to have quick access to the titles I've acquired.

Every time I try to add a title, I have to start a new collection. I don't know what step I'm missing to simply be able to view. Also, if I click Recent titles, it still brings up hers even though it's been years.

Reggia | 2590 comments Anyone seen this Amazon news: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMoCz...

I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. Does this means anything I have on Kindle will disappear? and one would need to download it onto a PC?

Vickie (bookfan4ever) | 28 comments The way I understand it, you still own those books, but you will only be able to read them or reread them through Kindle. But, say you end up deleting your Amazon account in the future, THEN you would lose all those books. Books that you actually paid for and technically own. So that's why it is recommended to download them on to a PC before the 26th. Then you will always have them.

Laura B | 82 comments I downloaded all my books to my computer, but as the video said it took a LONG time, but then I backed them up on a flash drive. On Amazon it states that you will no longer be able to transfer them via USB cable but will continue to download books via Wi-Fi on your devices, but you do not lose your books.
