I read The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker,

It won the Mythopoeic Award for adult literature 2014 (http://www.mythsoc.org/news/news-2014...)

It's a well-written mix of myths, mystery and exploration of what it means to be human.

I really enjoyed this one too.

I read (and LOVED) All Systems Red by Martha Wells, which won the Hugo (among others) in 2018.

In August I read a magical realism book, a genre that I usually try to avoid. For this challenge I read: Life of Pi It won the Booker Prize.
