In the hangar, Jax weakly collapsed from the Quinjet.

An agents heard her and looked over, "Your finally awake."

Jax coughed, his muscles sore. He weakly got to his feet and jogged to the door. He looked out and when the coast was clear slipped into the hall.

He padded down the hallway, a strange sense of familiarity coming onto him. he eventually froze and realized, "This is Avengers tower."

The agent looked over at her, "Hey, it isn't all bad." She smiled in a friendly manner, "You're going to have a chance to lay your case out in a bit."

An alarm blared, and the collar around her neck shocked her with 50,000 bolts of electricity.

In the hallway, Jax heard two shouts suddenly cut off, and ran in the direction of them.

Jax burst into the room and ran over to the cage.

He shook his head, "Long story." He looked at the lock and said, "It needs a handprint."

He stared at it for a second, then asked, "Hey, did you have anybody guarding you? It might be theirs."

Jax glanced sideways at her but shrugged, "Ok, I don't know what that means, but...i'll find another guard...or something."

He frowned and looked at her, "My powers? What about them?"

He shrugged, "I don't know, just the regular spider man powers. Along with night vision, and I make my own webs, but thats about it."

Jax whirled around, "Hey there!" He shot a web at the guard, pining him to the wall. He ran over and slugged him acorss the jaw, knocking him out. He turned to Alia, "Found a guard!"

He ripped the webs off and then dragged him over. He paused suddenly and asked, "You arent going to hurt him, are you?"

He shrugged and continued bringing him over, "Had to ask." He stopped in front of her cell and gave her a cock-eyed look, "So now what? Just pass him over?"

Jax smirked, "I'll have to remember that." While she was doing whatever it was she was doing, Jax went to the door and looked out into the hall. He saw a troop of guards silently coming towards them. He swallowed, "Um, we have a problem."

Jax closed the door and turned to her, "Guards. A lot of them."

Jax looked at her then frowned, "Hey, why can't you just portal out of there?" He cut himself off as they both heard a loud click from the door. Jax turned and tugged on it, "It's locked. That's probably not good." Suddenly, a loud hissing filled the room, and white gas started to pour from vents in the ceiling.

Jax darted around the room, looking for a way out. He fell to his knees, his head nodding. He slurred something, then fell over, unconscious.

The guards burst into the room and shot wave after wave of ICERS into her cell. A few went over to Jax and picked him up, carrying him out.

They continued to fire, and the gas began to take its toll. One of them shouted, "Stop fighting! We're trying to give you a chance here!"

The guard yelled in response, "After you sent multiple agents to an unknown location, yes!"

The agent threw a fist up, and they stopped firing. "Are you willing to cooperate? We want to hear your side of the story, but we can't do that if you're fighting us at very turn!"

"We did that because you have killed multiple agents, and commited multiple acts of terrorism in more than one country."

"My point is, you can't blame us for taking extreme caution. Now, I'm asking one more time: will you cooperate with us peacefully, and allow us to hear your story?"

The guard nodded and all the agents lowered their weapons. He walked forwards and unlocked the cage, "I'm trusting you, but I still have all these agents with loaded guns, so don't try anything funny."

He swung the cage open and said, "Your friend will be there too, he'll help if you need it."

He nodded, "Very well then. his way." He led her out of the room, and down a long hallway. They eventually entered a room, and more agents were there, along with other teenagers. Some were in casual wear, while others were wearing suits. A man with an eyepatch stood up, "Welcome. I am Director Fury, of SHIELD.

Fury raised his eyebrows and then said, "We know that you were being controlled by HYDRA, but we don't know wether you were doing it willingly or not. We would like you to enlighten us."

One of the teenagers picked a chair up and brought it over, "Here." Just then, a door on the other side of the room opened, and a guard walked in a very dazed looking Jax.

Fury sat as well, "From the beginning."

Fury sat up slightly, "What was that?" Jax subtly shook his head at her.

Fury put a hand to his earpeice and swore. He looked at the guards, "Contain her. HYDRA is surounding the tower."

Fury stood and headed to the door. "Can't take that chance-" He was cut off as the window was shattered, and bullets splintered across the room. Everyone dove for cover.

Jax slid across the floor and under a desk. He spotted Alia moving for cover. He started to go over to her, when one of the plainclothes teenagers zipped over to her. A speedster Jax knew, Damon. He muttered something in her ear.

The speedster blasted up beside her. He said,"We need to get you and Jax to safety. They are obviously after you, an you need a companion."

Damon hauled her to her feet then ran and snatched Jax. he dragged him over and said, "Technically, this meeting never finished, so we need somebody to keep an eye on you." He shoved them into each other and said, "Now, shoo."

Jax ran down the hall with her behind him, "Where are we going??"

Jax sputtered, "An Avenger? Hell no, I could never deal with their politics! Its just my team and theirs are friendly to one another!"

Jax skidded to halt, "Down here, its the hangar. We can get a car and Ill take us to my base!"

((well, i was thinking he would bring her to his base and they would lay low, talk, and maybe start to get more interested in each other))

Jax scowled, "Look, this is no time for stupid arguments!"

Jax rolled his eyes, "Yeah, whatever." He ushered her into the garage, then selected a large humvee, "Ok, we have to roar out of here fast, so buckle up."

((he has a base, but there isnt a segment for it in this rp

Jax gunned the engine and roared out. He heard suprised shouting from HYDRA agents, and also saw them engaging with SHIELD agents. He said, "Ok, I think we're out of the worst of it."

Jax snickered softly, "One thing we agree on.'
