thank you for your work on this post! i have ordered A Pure Heart via ILL and i am looking forward to it.

I just started my pick for this month, In the Language of Miracles by Rajia Hassib. =)

I plan to read Distant View of a Minaret and Other Stories, by Alifa Rifaat.

So i read A Pure Heart and it was really good! i don't know if i would have picked it up if not for this challenge and i am so glad i did. it's a great story about two sisters whose lives go in very different directions. All of the characters were well fleshed out, and the writing was lovely.

I just finished Palace Walk (the first book in the Cairo Trilogy). I loved it! And need to pick up the next two books ASAP!
