Amy I love Susan. But I don't think Anna Popplewell did her justice. Anna was definitely better in Prince Caspian, but in the Lion, Witch, etc, she was quite weak.

Brooklyn Tayla (bookishbrooklyn) | 8 comments I love Susan. I think Anna Popplewell gave her justice in the films, too. Susan's probably my favourite character, along with Aslan & Lucy.

Brooklyn Tayla (bookishbrooklyn) | 8 comments I sorta felt that way about Peter, to begin with. But he grew on me :)

Lynne Stringer I always feel sad at the way Susan's character ended up.

I thought Peter was the weakest of the kids, to be honest. He overacted, and then didn't act. If that makes sense!

Joe Hyatt | 22 comments I just finished the Last Battle and I thought it was very sad how Susan turned up.

I wonder why CS Lewis wrote it that way...

Because he wanted to say, that one shouldn't be too materialistic and shouldn't think it's "mature" to be fully "grown up".

And since it's about Christianity, it's symbolic: it shows that some people turn away from God.

Fabi (fabilous_reviews) I think it's so sad for Susan, I actually was in shock for a while when reading that!
