Hello! Well it’s been 2 years since Talk Wordy To Me started! We’re reading The Prisoner of Azkaban in celebration and we also have a cosy reading night planned for Tuesday 3rd August 5pm-9pm BST but join in anytime you like, whether that’s a different time zone or a different day, happy reading!

Peacejanz | 16 comments What is BST? I am a dumb American - they never taught me what the B would stand for. I got Standard Time. Yes, I plan to be there - it it on Zoom or do we just post out thoughts here? peace, janz

Vanessa Sharples | 23 comments I’ve loved rereading this, I like how the books mature with the characters and the situations become more perilous.
Whenever I read the HP books now, loving Snape and knowing who he really is, it goes to show, as in life, that when you get to know and understand a character and their actions, it changes how you feel about what they do and the different experience this gives you when reading. If only in life we could sometimes ‘reread and re-react’
Re-Reading a book always makes me mindful to try and wear my non-judgemental hat, as all is not as it seems.
Great book choice 😊

Well I took the opportunity to listen to this book in audio form and I don't regret it. I think this may be my favourite in the series which is quite odd because it's the only one that Voldemort doesn't make an appearance. I can't pin point why this book feels extra cosy and soul soothing but I find it be very comforting, especially when paired with Stephen Fry narrating, just so cosy!

- Have you read the prisoner of Azkaban before? If so, how many times?
- What rating would you give it?
- What is your favourite book in the series?

Let me know what you think :)

message 7: by Parker (last edited Sep 02, 2021 06:24AM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker | 1 comments I've read them all well over 100 times (I'm an obsessive re-reader with books and authors I like).
I think I gave it 5 stars.
I really don't have a favourite -- I like them all for different reasons.

Kelsie Christensen (kelsieswiftie) | 1 comments This is my least fave of the series but I love the series so much that I still loved this book.
