A delightful beach read perfect for summer that keeps it (mostly) light while tackling heavy issues like death, grief, and moving on. Patrick, also known as Gay Uncle Pat or GUP and our titular Guncle takes in his niece and nephew for the summer after his brother goes into rehab following his wife's, and Patrick's best friend's, death.

Predictably the kids teach Patrick how to live and love again as he struggles to move on from his own loss.

A cute story and great for audio.
My only complaint is I think it was a smidge too long.
