Academy of Misfits discussion

I realized that this is a multi story Academy so it must need stairs!

Denver sat on the stairs with his elbows on his knees and his head resting in his hands

Kristy walks down singing softly for others dont notice that much.

Leia walks to the stairs and notice the boy but not her sister

Denver didn't notice either of them. He just sat there muttering to him self. The tips of his blonde hair turned blue a icy

Leia looks down and sits down next to Denver. ¨Hello?¨ she said

Kristy stooped and sat down on a stair not looking around and put her hands down and hum to herself.

He snapped out of his daze "What. Oh, uh. Hi."

Leia looked at him¨Whats yur name? Mine is Leia.¨

"Uh Denver."

¨U okay Denver?¨

Kristy hum her moms song quitly

"No." He admitted

¨Oh, I have to go but I will talk later when I come back this way¨ said leia

Kristy watches the boy sliently

"Ok."

Kristy walks down the rest of the stairs ¨Hey¨ she says

"Hi"

¨Whats yur name?¨ she asked happy

"Denver"

¨Mine is Kristylnn but most people call me Kristy for short.¨

Blakely sat on the stairs as she listened to her music and sketched in her journal

Kai approached the stairs and sat on the bottom step thinking

Blakely saw the other boy sit on the steps and she went back to drawing, if he didn't bother her she wouldn't bother him

He waved at her

She stared at him for a second and then waved back

As shy as he was to talk he took out a piece of paper and wrote something on it then showed it to her on it said "i'm kai"

Blakely read the paper and couldn't the small smile that came to her face at how shy this kid was. "I'm Blakely."

He started to right again and showed it to her again "nice to meet you" it said and for the first time in a while he smiled

"It's nice to meet you too, Kai." She said softly. She smiled back at him and put her things down on the steps

Kai tried to think of something to talk about before writing on the paper again

"How long have you been at the academy?" She asked as she looked around and took out her headphones

He held up 3 fingers

She nodded and held up six fingers in response

"Wow" he mumbled

She shrugged and looked at her hands

Kai took out an old photo book and looked at it he thought of his parents and grew more sad and angered by what happened that night

Blakely saw him take out what looked like a photo album. She leaned a little forward to see better, "Everything ok?"

He looked at her and shook his head as tears fell

Blakely stared not sure what to do, she wasn't good with things like this. She slowly moved next to him and lightly wrapped him in a hug

"My parents....were shot and killed by a couple of shooters who broke in to our apartment...." he stated "i managed to escape and ran off before they could catch me.." he wiped the tears from his eyes and took a breathe

She stayed silent and hugged him rubbing his back. She wasn't sure what to say, "I'm sorry that happened to you, Kai."

He looked at another photo and took it out ripping it in two he crumpled one half of it in his hand it was a memory he'd rather forget

She gently placed her hand on top of his, "I know you're upset, but it'll be ok." She said softly, she wasn't sure how to comfort someone, but she was willing to try

"I guess your right" he opened his hand and looked the torn half and thought of the words his ex would say to him "you are my sunshine and always will be i promise to never leave you" the photo burned in his hand due to the heat his animatronic form carried with him

She moved back some considering he got warmer than before. She tilted her head as she narrowed her eyes at him. "What is your ability?" She stared at him and waited to see what he would say

He didn't say anything at first "something dangerous that you don't wanna know.." he said

She shrugged and moved back some, "I get it, my ability isn't exactly safe either."

"A lot aren't safe"

"Abilities in general aren't safe, we aren't even supposed to be able to have them."

"True, probably why we come to academy is to control it"

"Yeah, to learn how to control it enough so we don't hurt anyone."

"Yep, but that'll never happen"

"What makes you say that?" She asked a little confused by what he said
