I'm glad they explained a little bit about the name of the book, I've been wondering about that since we picked it last month haha! This is not exactly going the way I thought it would go.
That was an unexpected turn of events. I'd guessed that Boo wasn't what she claimed to be but things are way more complicated than I'd imagined. Not really sure how this will end but I wonder if it will echo how the real Jack The Ripper events played out
I was thinking that Boo was a reporter pretending to be a student to spy on Rory. I actually thought that Alistaire was a ghost but then when Boo could see him I thought I'd been wrong. Her wanting to talk to him seemed to confirm the reporter thing. I'm glad I was wrong and that Boo is more legit than that. The bald ghost guy is so creepy! I did NOT like how he touched Jazza at the party. I'm afraid that he's going to go into their dorm building and attack someone in there. I think the worst would be if it was Jazza. Anyway, I'm freaking out but I'm having a really good time reading this book!
I also thought Boo was a reporter at first. There's a little joke/clue, though, when Boo first talks to Alistair: (view spoiler)
I was wondering when the theme of ghosts was going to play into this book. Very interesting characteristic that a ghost has that much power in order to physically throw a human. In the previous chapters they discussed that some ghosts could barely pick up an object. I can't wait to see what's next.
Okay,I knew something was up with Allistair, totally thought he was a ghost! I love how powerful and diverse ghosts are in this book. It's kind of refreshing to see some variation from the masses of ghost stories. I've read a few chapters ahead so I won't make too many predictions. I'm kind of hoping for a ghost rally to stop the murders. How epic would it be if humans and ghosts collaborated? I don't think that's how it will play out, but it would be pretty neat.
