On this day 77 years ago, Anne Frank was captured by Nazi police. One month later, she would have been safe to come out of hiding :(

Yes! I love her diary, but it is so heartbreaking, especially knowing how close she was to freedom :(

In the 1200s, Pope Gregory IV thought black cats were evil, so he declared war on cats. As a result, cats were killed all around Europe, and plague-infested rats took over!

Maybe, that would be awesome! I've read The Scarlet Pimpernel book; its about an anonymous English man who helped French diplomates escape the guillotine and go to England!

The US flag was designed by a 17 year old for a school assignment in 1958. He got a B- on the assignment, but still sent the design to the white house, which accepted the design and made it the official flag!
