So I've had this book on my 'Want to read' shelf for a while but I'm not sure if Cassandra's books have any special order? Like I've read The Mortal Instruments series, loved it, but does Clockwork Angel have anything to do with those or is it something completely different (still including the whole concept of shadowhunters though)?

i’m not reading it now (i already finished the book) but i just popped in to say i hope you love it! i love cassie’s works and this book is literally perfection made out of dead trees

The book has 20 chapters + the prologue and epilogue so do you guys want to read 4 chapters a day? The chapters are pretty long to.

I've read the epilogue now and I'm already loving it. Already feeling like this is the kind of book I'll have trouble putting down once I start for good.
I want to start so bad. I know I’m going to fall in love with the book. I just have to get through work then I’ll start

I just read the prologue. I’m getting major dark academia vibes. Also the symbol on the carriage is the same symbol on the knife so that’s suspicious.
How many times have you reread the infernal devices. And which book is your favorite?
Wow my expectatitons were high going into this but after reading 1st chapter as well- things already going on from the beginning is something I usually miss in books, but this one does not dissapoint in this asspect. I hate the fact that my family needs me all over the place while I'm trying to read this xd

The quotes make so much sense when you read them after finishing the chapter, really appreciate that tip. Unfortunately I'll have to finish with chapter 2 for tonight, because it's midnight already and I have to wake up early. Will definetly catch up with you tomorrow.
So far I'm loving it. I prefer the type of books that have so much happening in the begining and then start to slow down as you read on. I'm liking all the characters already xd

omggg thanks for the tip of reading the quotes after the chapter and @Donachy I also find that poetry quote my fav, cuz its understandble lolll I feel like I'm very behind cuz of the time zone difference lmao like keeping up with your discussions and all that

Okay, I’m doing a readathon today. And for me that means I’ll read for about 4 hours because I can’t sit still and actually read for the whole day lol. But I’ll catch up with you guys
I just finished chapter 6, I'm hoping I'll be able to finish another one today, but there's a good chance I won't. I'm loving the book so far, liking the way characters and their relationships are already developing. I love Jem and the way he and Tessa met. Also lovi Henry and even Charlotte and I just feel like they complete eachother in a way.

This is very weird but I need to rant. So I was reading clockwork Angel at the park. And there was no seats left so I sat on a slide and this kid told me to move so I did. Then I was climbing back up and I hit the top of my foot against the bar HARD. And it hurts And now I’m limping and my parents are mad at me. And I cant walk because it hurts and the thing is thag it’s the same foot I fractured 2 years ago so yeah.
In conclusion I regret going to the park.
Also I’m on chapter 5
