Hello! First-time self-published author here, looking to exchange a fair and honest review. Prefer to swap with someone who will purchase on Amazon (for a verified purchase tag), and I will do the same. Am happy to post a review to Goodreads and Amazon.

My book is an adventure travel memoir, recounting the year I spent exploring, hiking, rock climbing, and backpacking around Europe and Asia when I was 22.

Please note, I don't usually enjoy horror or sci-fi, but I'm open to fantasy, lit fic, YA, and most other genres.

Christina (christinahoag) | 3 comments Hi Sophie - I'm a veteran traveller and love travel memoirs. I have a detective mystery to swap, it's a novella 200 pages. The Blood Room: The body of a young lawyer is found in an alley, and the suspicious circumstances of his death arouses Los Angeles PD Detective Desi Nimmo’s interest. As she pursues a complex series of clues of what caused his death, the trail leads her into LA's massive and lucrative porn industry. She must also fend off the rivalry of disgraced Detective Fin McNab, who is desperate to regain his good standing with the brass and will stop at nothing--including throwing colleagues under the bus, snatching their cases and investigating their personal pasts. As she doggedly pursues the case amid McNab’s interference, Desi uncovers a seamy underground business and a cold-case murder but this is a world that doesn’t appreciate people asking questions. As she gets closer to the truth, Desi’s career –and life--hang in the balance. Let me know if interested, just send me yours: choag24 at gmail. Christina

David MacNamera | 36 comments Hi Sophie and Christina,

Would you both be interested in a 3-way swap? That way the reviews won't be reciprocal and will appear less likely to have any bias in them. I'm just now pre-releasing my latest light-fic, YA, friendship and adventure book called "7 Spirits, 4 Friends" at https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

I also like the idea of buying review copies off of Amazon. I'd be happy to do a three person exchange, just let me know! Cheers, David

Hi David, how are you? Are you looking for reviewers for your book? If so, I'd love to read and review it in exchange for a physical copy, as I don't really have a good way to read ebooks. My review would be published on Goodreads and my book blog. I can also be reached by email at: justabookishblog@gmail.com
Thank you!

David MacNamera | 36 comments Sure Violet, I'll be happy to send you a paperback copy in exchange for your unbiased review. I'll DM you for a physical address to have Amazon send the book to. Regards, David

With Violet, Christina, David, and Sophie, I count four readers in a three-way. If someone else throws their name in, I'll make it six. Maybe we can each get two reviews that way?

David MacNamera | 36 comments 11 days and the originator of this thread has not returned. Here's my comment from another review thread:

I'm beginning to see why these review swaps require a moderator, they never seem to get off the ground without one!!! ;-)

Clark Wilkins | 29 comments There's Violet, David, and me for a three-way. I'd be happy to organize it.

David MacNamera | 36 comments I think Violet is a reader, not an author. I've just mailed her a copy of my pre-release newest book. That leaves us just 2 authors, one more and we can get started!

Karen | 4 comments Hi David, I am an author with a newly released fiction anthology, all very short and amusing or ironic stories with feel-good twists at the end. I am happy to participate in a trio to help each other writers with valid commentary. Happy to purchase on Amazon if not too pricey.

ebooks only, thanks.

Cheers

Karen | 4 comments Hi Sophie, are you still looking for other authors to review your new book? I have just released a fiction anthology of really short stories, funny ones and gripping ones, with feel-good twists at the end. A trio swap would be more preferable.

Is your book on Amazon and under $4?

We will need to purchase to be verified.

Cheers
Karen

Bhavana Gesota | 37 comments Hi all,
I have a nonfiction travel book called The Art of Slow Travel.
If anyone is interested in doing a review exchange in a duo or a trio, then drop me a note at bhavanagesota@gmail.com

Thanks much.

Hi Karen, I think you, I, and Clark could possibly do a threeway, you could read my book, 7 Spirits, 4 Friends, Clark could read your anthology, and I could read one of his.

I'll email him and see if he's available, let you know soon!

David

David MacNamera | 36 comments I have a conflict with Clark, but if Bhavana and Karen would like to do a three-way review with me that would work. I could read the anthology book, Bhavana could read 7 Spirits, 4 Friends, and Karen could read Slow Travel.

If that works for both of you please let me know here or at macnamera@msn.com.

Cheers,

David
