Persephone gliding to the nearest island as the storm gushed winds at her so fierce she couldn’t stay upright. She crashed into a sandy beach as her wing bled from a cut
Halcyon sped through the air, her SkyWing wings propelling her quickly. She was on a mission to get to the Lost Continent on business. All she knew was that it was urgent.
The wind made travel dangerous, even for a SkyWing who had traveled between the two continents many times. She was blown off-course many times. Harpy looked down and saw a NightWing on the beach, bleeding. Her duty was to continue on, but weren't detectives supposed to help people, even if it was by bringing criminals to justice? Halcyon swooped down, propelled by the wind, and just managed not to crash straight into the NightWing.

((Persephone is a Leaf/Rain))
She looked up and saw the dragons above she called the plants nearest her to cover her as she crawled up a tree to hide, watching them

((sorry. Also, Halcyon and Harpy are the same dragon, but Halcyon is known to everyone as Harpy to conceal her identity. I will usually refer to her as Halcyon, unless she is talking about herself.))
A fresh gust of wind blew Halcyon off course as she swooped up to avoid a crash landing. She plunged into the churning waves. She remembered what to do in these cases, and she allowed herself to ride on the waves until she managed to find an area where she could get free. She used her powerful wings to get out of the ocean and land back on the beach. She looked around and there was no sign of the injured hybrid.
"I can't be hallucinating," Halcyon thought to herself, "where is she?"

“She peeks out so she can slightly be seen. Maybe they could help her, but she got some seeds ready
Halcyon scanned the area slowly. She saw movement in a tree and fixed her gaze on it. She walked forward, putting her talon on a throwing knife concealed by a pouch attached to her belt.
She saw the spark of the k ice as a flash of lightning sparked near where they stood. She threw the seeds, which trapped the new dragon in a cage of vines and thorns that would cut her if physical contact.
Halcyon cursed under her breath, then she growled, "Let me go, in order of Her Majesty Queen Ruby! I have permission from Her Majesty to kill anyone who gets in my way!"
She took out a large knife from her satchel and tried hacking at the thorny vines. She hissed as her arm came in contact with a thorn and red steams flowed down her arms, dripping into the sand.

“Your in their because you want to kill me!” Persephone snapped. “Maybe if you don’t kill me I’ll let you live”
((Could I join too? I have an Ice/Rain/Night that patrols the islands sometimes. She could help. It's all up to you guys :) ))
"Three moons," Halcyon said exasperated, "I did not know if you were a threat or not. Besides, I am on important business for Queen Ruby, and it is against the law to stop me like this. " Halcyon thought for a moment and realized the law did not apply. She had tried to help the dragon, and the dragon locked her in this cage, so unlawful detention was the only charge Halcyon could accuse this strange hybrid of. "Also, your logic is faulty. If I kill you, how can you kill me?"
Halcyon decided there was enough sand in her prison to extinguish a fire. She breathed in, getting ready to blast open this organic prison with her fire.

“Fine” Persephone told the plants to go back to the forest and she cautiously stepped toward the new dragon

Toga patiently watched this all from above, keeping his wings close to his body. They tilted his head, hoping his house was hidden well enough. With his small frame he could pace along the branch easily, without breaking it, but his tail accidentally bumped against the leaves, causing them to flutter down with a dry rustling sound. Toga froze, holding her breath and pulling her wings in close. I'm the tree. I'm just a knot in the tree, nothing important. They closed their eyes, freezing each of his limbs.
((Thanks :) ))Galaxy was slowly gliding over the islands, looking for a place to land and rest. Finally, she spotted an island large enough, but she stopped short when she saw two dragons arguing. "Hey!" She called out, flapping to a stop on the sand. She unstrapped the spear from her back, and held it at her side. "Violence is prohibited," she said cooly, glaring at the two dragons.
“More dragons!” Persephone shrieked as she asked to plants to restrain the new dragon. “Who ever else is here show yourself or I will hurt you!” She yelled through gritted teeth as her wing throbbed with pain
Galaxy hissed, and leapt into the air before the vines could wrap around her. "I am General Galaxy," she snarled. "I am patrolling the islands for Queen Snowfall. It is my job to ensure peace across the land. I have no intention of hurting you, unless I have to." Her wings slowly shifted into a deep navy black, her horns shifted too. Her body, a dark gray, remained unchanged. Her expression softened, and hints of pink sympathy colored her wings. "You're hurt," she pointed out. "I can help you, if you calm down and let me land."
((Thanks, but you guys don't have to wait unless you want to :) ))
Halcyon sighed, "And I am an investigator for Queen Ruby. I am here on important business. So if you don't mind, I should be on my way."
Halcyon bandaged her hurt arm. She looked at the map as the wind blew, making it harder for her to see. She looked at the sky, but could not tell the time.

Toga's eyes widened as they watched Galaxy's scales shift. A- A rainwing? I've never seen one! He leaned forward, undoing her position and wrapped her tail around the branch. Furling their wings out and then letting them tilt back, Toga watched curiously. He could feel his heart beating like crazy and his whole body was twitching. Because she was trembling, the branch shook beneath him, rustling the trees around him loudly, no matter the effort they took to go still, it wasn't working. Three moons! Stop shaking Toga, these loud hognoses will hear you! With a soft gasp, they covered their snout. What was that? No! You can't think about other dragons like that! He could just hear his mother now. Remember to be kind Toga! She shook her head, focusing back on the dragons beneath him, returning to his former silence and stillness.
Galaxy nodded once, and landed a few meters away from Persephone, and pulled a roll of bandages from the sling of items crossing her chest. She reached out for Persephone's wing, slowly wound the bandages around the wound, slicing the end off with her talons. "There. Can you trust me now?" She asked softly as she glanced around the rest of the clearing. "An investigator for Queen Ruby? What are you doing in the islands?" She asked suspiciously, before shaking her head and adding, "Sorry, right. Classified, is it not?"
“Thank you.” Persephone mumbled as she glanced at the other dragons curiously. “I’m here to get away from my family and go back to Pyrrhia

Halcyon had an inkling that there were other dragons in the vicinity here, someone, or someones, spying on them. She looked around for any sign of other dragons, but saw none. Still she kept her guard up.
Halcyon nodded at the strange IceWing-RainWing-whatever-hybrid this dragon was with a calm expression, "The details are classified, but what I am here for is this:"
She held out a piece of paper.
Do you know any dragon with this description?
Tribe: SkyWing
Gender: Male
Approximate age: 20
Scale color: Deep red with blue undertones
Eye-color: Black-brown
Distinguishing features: Scar above and parallel to right eye.

Nimbly, Toga crawled down the tree, frowning. Better make an epic entrance so no one hates you, right? Aw no- they'll hate you anyway, better to just stay in your tree. But she was already on the ground and he couldn't get his claws to stop moving. Soon enough they broke through the treeline and froze. Oh no- Putting on the darkest frown, this small dragon attempted to look intimidating.
Galaxy studied the paper, as if the wanted dragon's face was printed on it. "I don't recall seeing a dragon like that," she answered finally. "But if I see something in either the Rainforest or the Ice Kingdom, I'll tell Queen Ruby." She nodded once at the SkyWing, and picked up her spear for a few meters away, and set it back into place on her back.
Halcyon shook her head, "The dragon is not wanted. He is already dead. Us investigators are trying to figure out who the SkyWing is-was, to see if we can figure out who killed him. Some of our other investigators put together this image as best they could."
Halcyon looked over and stifled a gasp. She saw the dragon she sense a few minutes ago. She could not tell what in Pyrriah this dragon was.
"Come into the light!" she barked, "Whoever you are."

With reluctance, Toga forced himself to step further onto the hot sand. "Why are you all on my island?" She called, trying to force the nervousness from her voice. Three moons, don't let them notice how shaky my voice is. Their dark brown scales shimmered in the new sunlight, undertones of black, light brown and green came forth, and her wings glittering dimly. Toga spread his wings, doing his best to look intimidating, which seldom worked as she was tiny.
"Already dead?" She narrowed her eyes. "Why is he so important to you then? Dragons die everyday, maybe his death was an accident." She suggested, shrugging. "I can still keep an eye out for a suspicious SkyWing, but," she glanced around her. "If you have the body, then why are you searching for a dragon that matches his description?" When Galaxy saw the reaction in the SkyWing's eyes, she immediately stepped back into a defensive position, crouching on her hind legs, her spiky tail stiff, poised forward. Her spear flashed into her hands, and she gasped a cold breath, cooling her throat so she could spit her icy breath.
When she saw the tiny dragon, she slowly relaxed, but didn't lower her weapon. "Who are you?" She demanded, unfolding her own wings to create the illusion that she was larger than her opponent.
A low, hissing sound erupted from Toga, put off by the sudden hostility. He scowled, the mushrooms on his back rippling and glowing softly. She turned to the side, pacing in a wide circle, careful to stay out of range; the mushroom cap on their tail dragged in the sand, forming a large trail behind her. "I'm Toga. This is my island. I live here." They felt light-headed, recognizing the oncoming symptoms. Their heart pounded, their mind muddled and slow. With a soft gasp, their eyes rolled back and they crumpled forward, her wings slumping beside him and Toga passed out.
"Well, Toga, these islands belong to no one. Just because you live here, doesn't mean the land is yours. I'm sorry for the inconvenience," the hybrid said stiffly. She didn't release her weapon until the dragon was out cold. "Toga?" She called cautiously, before dropping her spear and rushing over, checking the dragon over for wounds. "He's passed out, I believe," she turned to the other dragons behind her.
Persephone made a thorn cage around her to protect herself from the dragons. “Get away from me!” She screeched
"He's passed out," she repeated patiently. She heaved the dragon into her arms and set him down a few meters away from the collective of other dragons. "What should we do with him?" She nodded at the LeafWing-NightWing hybrid before her.
She lowered the vines and inspected the dragon carefully. She asked the vines to form a cage around the dragon. “Let’s ask them” she said, waiting for the dragon to wake
"Good idea," she nodded at the cage of vines. "Now we wait." She sat on her heels, wrapping her tail around her talons.
Galaxy shrugged. and nodded. "If that'll wake them up, then, go right ahead." She stopped, but added quickly. "Don't harm them though. I have to be responsible for anything that now is going to happen on this island for as long as I'm here."
Toga snorted, blinking open his eyes with a start. "Ouch!" He cried, batting her away with their wings. "Hey! Why are you still here! Why am I covered with sand?" Her face contorted into surprise as he sneezed. "I must've passed out." Toga's voice wavered softly, as if he were about the break into tears, before flattening their expression into a frown. "Why can't you just leave?" They asked, unable to keep the annoyance and desperation from her voice. "I don't like new dragons!"
"Some of us are answering our Queen's orders," she said coolly, pointing her snout down to watch Toga's every move. "I'll have to report your existence, you know, and mark where your island is. I'll make sure to add not to disturb you, but we still need as much information of the islands as possible. You may be able to help me. After this is over, could I ask you some questions?" She glanced at the dragons around her, signalling for one of the others to start talking.
Halcyon nodded. She decided not to question the dragon if he knew who the dragon she was searching for was.
“The rest of the information is classified” Halcyon thought, but did not speak “Why this dragon is so important, even though he may be just a commoner and of no importance,”

Persephone lower the vine cage and stepped closer. She flinched as her wing throbbed. There was a light streak of blood flowing down her wing that dribbled onto the warm sand, sizzling when they touched. “I just crash landed here. We didn’t mean to disturb you. Or at least, I don’t want to disturb you.” She glanced at the other dragons.
"I'm sure none of us meant to disturb your island, Toga, but some of us have important business. This SkyWing here is on the orders of Queen Ruby. I am here on orders of Queen Snowfall. We did not mean to cause you so much stress, but we also cannot disobey our Queen's orders." Galaxy stood, making sure her wings fell into place and her scales slowly spread into a deep IceWing blue, so she would look regal, like a General. "You are free to go, if you wish. Or, if you'd like to help me, I'll get off your island faster."
“I’ll help to I guess as long as to help me get to Pyrrhia” Persephone offered as she glanced back to Toga.
