Kai I recommend that unless you can multitask that you stick to one story before moving onto the next. Also that starting a rough draft first really helps and you can fill it in after with more detail and dialogue.

I'd recommend creating character playlists. Basically, a playlist of songs that either sums up their personality or that they would listen to. I turn them on when I'm working with specific characters, that way I can get into the mindset and into their heads more easily. It's helped my writing a lot since I started doing it a couple years ago.

Kai (Wait. That is a really good idea. I am 100% trying that.)

1. “Worst version”: if you’re having trouble writing a scene, write it in the worst possible version you can think of and then correct the things that you find bad about it.

2. Brackets: if you can’t think of any good description, put the action in brackets. Come back to it later when you have inspiration.

3. Comic Sans: this one is the weirdest of them all. I swear by it though, changing the font to Comic Sans while you write makes the words and inspiration come so much more easily.

These are the things that help me, but I’m by far not a professional author so feel free to disregard this entire post. :)
