Just suppose (and let's pretend here) that you are stranded somewhere and although you have books, said books are of one genre. Which genre would you choose and why?

Julesy Without a doubt, MYSTERY! Now if I had to narrow it down to thriller, cozy or hard-boiled mystery, I couldn't decide!

Jamie Barringer (Ravenmount) (ravenmount) If I get new shipments regularly, mystery/crime is great, but rereading mysteries gets a bit old after a while. I'd go with 'modern classics' as defined by a publisher like Penguin, if I don't get restocked regularly.
