PRINCIPAL TSUNAMI?!? DID I GET THAT RIGHT?!?
Tamarack padded into the Principal's office, holding the freshly written order and looking around curiously. Even though they had been in not too long ago, they were still slightly nervous about talking to their boss on their first day of employment.
“Hello Mr Tamarack,” said Principal Tsunami.
"Evening Principal, " responded Tamarack awkwardly. He was very unused to needing to be so professional. "I know I placed an order for supplies this morning, but it turns out we need some frames as well. I have here the size and such that we need." They handed the hastily written paper to Tsunami.
Tsunami looked at the paper:
“Request accepted,” said Tsunami. “I will add to the order soon.”

“Request accepted,” said Tsunami. “I will add to the order soon.”
"Thank you," said Tamarack with a nod, still feeling very awkward. He left the Principal's office a bit faster than necessary.
Tsunami sighed and looked at the paper again. She put it in her desk then took a sip of coffee. This had been a long day.

“Here is Ashbreather, as you requested Principal Tsunami.” Said North, then she quickly walked away.
Ashbreather stood silently in the principal's office. Her neck and wings were pulled in as tightly as possible, making her appear very tiny in comparison to Tsunami.
“Hello Ash. I’m here to give you your schedule papers. I remember that we did not give you to them the day you joined. Thank you for being so understandable and going with North—Ms North, I mean. Thank you.” She handed a piece of paper to Ash.
Ash visibly deflated as her stress washed away. She sighed in relief and took the paper, giving Tsunami a shaky smile. "Thank you, Ms. Principal Tsunami."
Oh.Quartz immediately shrank back and slowly started creeping away.
Ash jumped when Quartz shouted loudly, immediately reverting to her anxious posture. After Quartz left the cave she looked nervously around the room before deciding that she probably shouldn't spend her first day entirely in the principal's office. "Um. I think. I'll go get something to eat now." Ash said, half to herself and half to Tsunami.
