Michael LaFond (michaellafond) | 26 comments I am a non-believer who loves Jesus and Christian philosophy. I am interested in discovering as much as possible about Jesus, his teachings, and early Christianity. I have been studying, first as a believer and then as an atheist, for my whole life. I have researched the history since 1993. My approach to Christianity is anthropological. I have written about some of my most important discoveries in Jesus Christ Divided.

Jesus Christ Divided is a historical examination of the letters of the New Testament starting with Paul. It differs with many scholars by accepting tradition even when the text challenges our modern sensibilities. By examining carefully and objectively, a surprising story comes to light that anyone can see.

Patrick Jefferys | 10 comments I find your topic very interesting. I have also written on the absolute proof that God exists which I set out in my book "Jurors What Say Ye." In the book I challenge those who disbelieve to consider the evidence and draw their own conclusions

Sure, but what is God? Certainly not an old man sitting on a cloud. There is not much evidence that allows us to say we actually understand God. Perhaps, God is unknowable, but then our religions are not about God. They are about our search for God.

Of course, God exists, but who knows what that means?
