Hi Rachel, thanks for inviting me to this group!I'm Kim, I'm 20 (turning 21 next month) and I'm going into my second year of grad school/pharmacy school in 2 weeks! (Yeah, I know I'm kind of young to be in grad school but long story short, I'm in an accelerated degree program for my major and that meant I had to complete undergrad in half the time instead of getting 4 years like everyone else). I'm also from New York haha!
I stopped reading when I started college 3 years ago because the books I read for fun were replaced with lecture notes and textbooks and quarantine helped me rediscover my love for reading! I love YA fantasy, contemporary fiction, historical fiction, mythology, retellings, and the occasional thriller and chick-lit romance.

i've been reading ever since i was a kid as well! i like to read mostly ya/na contemporaries, with some sci-fi, thriller and fantasy as well! some of my favorite authors are elizabeth acevado and casey mcquiston.

Hey everyone! My name is Elmia. I'm less than a year from finishing high school after which I will be studying industrial psychology for a day job - but I'm hoping to eventually write and blog full-time. I love studying literature and drama, and I am currently working on writing 3 different novels. My favourite genres (to read as well as write) include Science Fiction, YA, Thriller, Contemporary and Historical Fiction.
I recently started getting out of a 2-year reading slump and joined this platform as a motivator. I used to read at least 7 full novels a month with at least 100 books a year, but then late high school happened and I have very little time to read. My name is Rachel. I'm 20 years old and I have lived in a small town in NY all of my life. I am currently going into my junior year of college, studying to be a music teacher.
