Yes! I love this book! The Time Quintet is one of my favorite series. I like both Wrinkle In Time movies too, but the book is better (of course).
It was good. I've not yet checked out the entire series, but this book is good.
I think everybody should read this book as it contains many messages throughout it pertaining to nonconformity, individuality, and religion. This book was beautifully written, and the description within it definitely creates vivid images in your mind.
It's not a bad book, however, I did not enjoy it. I first read it as a kid in junior high and didn't like it then. When I got older I decided to read it again, maybe I didn't understand it. Except even as an adult, I found that I didn't like the book. Would still recommend it to kids that I think might like it, but it was a miss for me.
I read this in the 5th grade (I won't say how long that's been) and it has remained a favorite throughout my life. I think every young person should read it.
Followed by From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg.

It isone of my favorite books of all time. I've reread it many times.
It moved me as an 8-10 year old. There were things I needed to hear about hope and acceptance. There was magic and a wiff of science. Now I recognize it was spiritual Christian as well, and on re-reading I find some scenes oddly uncomfortable. Do read it. It is sweet and harmless.
A good read for tweens and pre-teens. It's really sweet , kind and tells you to be who you are- which is the best advice someone can give you at that age. I even watched the movie adaptation and loved the visuals.
Omgg yesss a lot in fact!!! I mean it's a classic for a reason right? The writing style was so amazing! It literally made my brain imagine very realistic and beautiful scenes. I felt like it had every single element a good book needs. Like certain parts had me on the edge o' my seat and in the part where they accidentally reach an unknown dimension and way the female creature takes care of her made me very emotional. Also the way the author describes how the creatures in that dimension can't see anything but can feel the warmth and happiness when the sun rises... It somehow made me feel happy and sad at the same time and I'm not at all complaining. And I haven't read the sequel the Wind in the Door yet... but I'm def gonna read it when I have the time.
