The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air, #1) by Holly Black
The Silvered Serpents (The Gilded Wolves, #2) by Roshani Chokshi (I didn't like the first book in this series but I liked the second one way more)

camilla(taylor's version) (camillareadings) I think Indian
- The Cruel Prince and
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians in case you want something more childlike!
At the moment I am in costume but as I haven't finished I can't indicate.

Patricie (patriciewithe) Crescent city - I read it in June, after a long time of not reading a fantasy book and beside the slow star it was very good
ACOTAR - honestly I spoiled myself the main love interest/endgame on booktok, but thanks to that I paid extra attention to the relationship development... This book series is amazing ✨ the fantasy world, the characters everything is just great
The black witch chronicles - I haven't finished it yet but the first two books are great,.the fantasy world is well depicted

message 30: by Barbara (new)

Barbara (cickamicka) | 2 comments Kings of the Wylde, it was one of the more refreshing fantasy books I read last year. Basically a bunch of old adventurers get together for one last quest to save one of their kids. Plays very much into the 80s rock band vibes and runs with it in universe. (adventurers being bands etc.)

message 31: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Nicholson | 1 comments My fantasy book (Angelkind:Elevation), is currently free to download on kindle at the moment.
https://tinyurl.com/AngelkindElevation

Beau is an angel.
A guardian.
Her job is to help mortals qualify for the afterlife.
But when Beau discovers that not all angels play by the rules, she finds herself on a relentless quest for truth and justice that might just cost her everything.

I put myself on a bit of a book buying ban at this time of the year, so thought having it free for a few days might help with the post Christmas slump!!!

Thanks so much and happy new year.

Sarah xXx
