Our group theme for our monthly book discussion is Summer Reads!! Gotta read at least one more summer book before winter is upon us! Pick a summery book and let us know how you like it! Who's your favorite character? Are you enjoying your pick? Is someone else's read on your TBR or have you read it? Let us know your thoughts and feelings about your book! Let me know if you have any questions!!

i just read looking for alaska. i know a lot of people love it but i thought it was mediocre. i love alaska and the colonel but i really don’t like miles too much he seems so undeveloped for being the main character. i have read one other john green book and thought it was so good because he can make a book so easy and beautiful to read and it doesn’t have to be too intense to make an impact which i love. but i really didn’t feel the emotion when the plot twist of this book happened. it just didn’t hit me like i thought it would. i want to hear some other people’s thoughts. i just think the book felt too unfinished to me.
That makes sense. What is the other book you read? I've read Turtles All the Way Down and The Fault in Our Stars. I didn't really care for Turtles all the way down, and I thought The fault in our stars was good but not the best book I've ever read.
