"Carry On" by Rainbow Rowell is a young adult fiction, romance, fantasy, and paranormal novel. It is about Simon Snow who was born to be the chosen one to save the magic world. Although his nemesis Baz Pitch says that he is the worst chosen one to ever be chosen. Simon had came to believe this because he can't control his magic, a monster is after him, and his girlfriend broke up with him. You would have to read the book to figure out how Simons story ended.
While I was reading this book I found it hard to put down because Simons never experienced a dull moments during his life. Everything kept you wanted more and more. The friendship was strong between Simon and his best friend Penny. The adventure also felt never ending and the romance was a little awkward, but still great. I really enjoyed reading this book and it made my day going to buy the second book.
