What was your experience with the Independent Novel Project? Did you enjoy your book? Would you suggest it to my other students/classes? Explain.

Once you have finished responding to the previous prompt, write a review for your book on the book's page.

Chelsie Sears | 2 comments For my Independent Novel Project I read Perfect by Ellen Hopkins. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it to others to read. The book is fairly long, but it's a quick read because it is written in the style of free-verse.

Cami Miller | 3 comments I LOVED MY BOOK. It always kept me on guard for what happens next. I would definetly reccomend it for other students to read. It was mixed with suspense and love, which I enjoyed. READ IT!!

message 5: by Blake (new)

Blake | 2 comments I read the Lord of the Flies by William Golding. It was a relatively good book, but was really descriptive and rather difficult to read. I would recommend this book to those interested in human behavior and who don't mind a longer book.

message 6: by Henry (new)

Henry | 2 comments My reading experience of And Then There Were None was just lovely. The book was just dandy. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a lovely and dandy book.

Henry you are wrong. This book is 100% trash

message 13: by Danielle (new)

Danielle Beasley | 2 comments I read the Vampire Beach: Legacy. It was a interesting book. It was very intense, but I'm not really into super-natural romances, but if you are, this book would be perfect for you.

"probject" "comfessions"?

message 16: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea Loveless | 2 comments For my Independant Novel I chose "the longest ride" by Nicholas Sparks. I felt that the book was a great romance, Being a Nicholas sparks book it was kind of expected to be a romance, love story. But i did enjoy the book. And I would suggest it to be read by my class mates, though it might not be enjoyed as much by everyone,it mostly appeals to girls.

this book is a love story? You liar.

message 18: by Shelby (new)

Shelby | 2 comments I enjoyed the INP. My book was Fahrenheit 451 and I loved it. I would suggest it to other students because it's a quick and easy read that forces you to think about real life and the way that our society is constantly changing.

message 19: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Villagrana | 2 comments The book I read, The House on Mango Street, wouldn't really be a recommendation, in my opinion. Throughout, it seemed difficult to try and find a plot line. It was more of a diary. I suppose if you're into reading diaries, read this book. If not, there's definitely a good Dr. Suess book out there somewhere.

message 20: by Abby (new)

Abby | 2 comments I read "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. The independent reading project made me really understand my book on a deeper level. My book is now my favorite book of all time. It combines multiple genres for a great story line. I would recommend it to anyone because it has something for everyone.

message 21: by Amoreena (new)

Amoreena Jasper | 2 comments For the INP I read Where The Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. I absolutelt loved the book! It had so much emotion packed into each page. I highly suggest reading it.

message 22: by Marcus (new)

Marcus | 2 comments For my independent novel project (INP), I read "The Iliad" by Homer. It was over all a pretty interesting book, but it was also something that you would have to be really dedicated to reading. While I enjoyed my book, that could have been because I really enjoy mythology. If you are into that then this the book for you! While, in my opinion, it has WAY too many details and extra junk, it is a good story. 4/5 stars. Would read again

message 23: by Tabitha (last edited Feb 09, 2015 11:39AM) (new)

Tabitha | 2 comments I had a pleasant expierence with the Independent novel project. I read the book 'Rumble' by Ellen Hopkins, and I very much enjoyed the book. I'm not to sure if I would suggest the book for everyone to read if they are sensitive to the things they read. But other than that, I would suggest it for everyone. Ellen's books are amazing, and they are a fast read.

message 24: by Cheyenne (new)

Cheyenne Burdine | 3 comments I read "The Giver" by Lois Lowry it was fantastic and I recommened it to anyone who enjoys a fast read and Sci-Fi genre.

message 25: by Josh (new)

Josh Roberts | 3 comments I read the book "The Death Cure", by James Dashner for my independent novel project. Quite frankly, one must read the first two installments in the maze runner series in order to understand the third, however, this book just captures perfect aspects of action and the sifi-related new world in which the characters survive in, and is a MUST READ for any Maze fan.

message 26: by Dylana (new)

Dylana Fothergill | 1 comments I would definitely recommend my book, To Kill a Mockingbird. It was a little hard to follow at times but was an awesome book. Go read it!

message 27: by Heather (new)

Heather Connolly | 2 comments I read "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie for my INP. I would highly suggest this book to anyone who loves mysteries, suspense, or murder novels. I actually enjoyed looking through all the analysis' that others got from the book during my research.

message 28: by Angelique (new)

Angelique | 1 comments For my independent novel project, I read Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. Although it was very long, I rather enjoyed it. "Anna" is very romantic, and combines political, moral, and religious laws and shows the effect they have on Anna and her family. I would recommend this to everyone not just for the romance or the politics, but also for the life lessons it teaches.

message 29: by Michael (new)

Michael Swiger | 2 comments For my book I read All Quiet on the Western Front it is an amazing book and I would recommend it to anyone in history or WWI since the book explores themes of the early 1900s and WWI. I also like the book since I can relate so much to the main protagonist Paul who often finds himself questioning the ideas he had of Nationalism, Morality, and his Youth. Paul is said to be too kind and caring for war and despite his efforts he tends to stay this way all throughout the war. I would highly recommend this book for anyone and would read it right away, if I could re-read the book for the first time again I’d do it since it has so many dilemmas and plot twists that really feel natural in the depressing trench setting.

message 30: by Tyler (new)

Tyler Hunter | 2 comments I read The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. It was the best piece of poetry I've ever read and would highly reccommend it. FIVE STARS!!!

message 31: by Bert (new)

Bert Dishman | 2 comments I read "As I Lay Dying" for my independent novel project. It was an interesting read. i will say it is a book you may find an interest in reading but personally I did not like the story. It deals very much with morality or rather a lack of it. It gets intense, and you grow to have a dislike for many of the characters. i would say prehaps it is a book better to avoid unless you want to see the worst of people.

message 32: by Alysha (new)

Alysha Mootoor | 2 comments For my Independent Novel Project, I chose the book, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I really enjoyed this book and reading this book was fun. I reccommend this book to anyone who likes romantics with a twist of a medical problem involed.
