The white figure saw Asiza and came up to her, "Why hello again."

Asiza had walked away from Frey, Flash, Groot and the girl with practiced poise. To the untrained eye she looked calm, collected, composed. But really, her heart was breaking inside. Reaching an empty hallway, she pressed her forehead against the wall fighting the war of emotions that raged inside. With an enraged shout, Asiza put her unprotected fist through the wall. Bolts and wires tore at her hand, but she ignored it. It was nothing compared to the pain she felt inside. Pulling her fist out, she saw that some of her fingers were broken and several lacerations covered her hand bleeding heavily. With a broken sob, she slid to the floor, cradling her broken hand as she cried for the first time in days.

She looked up surprised. Quickly she tried to compose herself.

It sat next to her, the faceless creature having a comforting presence, "What happened to your wrist?"

She indicated at the wall. "I needed to release my anger I have against my...father..." SHe held her necklace.

(Ask her about her father. I will write why she's here and why she ran away. Anyone own T'Challa? It's part of her story.)

The creature nodded and asked, "If I'm not intruding, may I ask who your father is?"

"T'Challa, of Wakanda." Sadness radiated from her voice. (Have him ask why she says it so sadly. And maybe Root eavesdrops on the conversation)

It said, "I am not familiar with that name. However, I do sense sadness in your voice. Why is that?"

(What's its name? Just wondering. Will u be on this friday around 3pm EST?)

"When I was kidnapped from the Guardians, I was taken back to Earth. They took me to a Mutant Showcase in Ghana where our powers were sold to the highest bidder. I was not a willing participant, which displeased my captors. They'd beat me, starve me, torture me to near death. I was a bloody mess by the time I was put on stage." A shudder ran through her body. "I refused to show the bidders what I can do. They began beating me again onstage...until T'Challa stopped them. Word got to him that they were selling mutants, he and a selected few Dora Milaje came undercover to free us. They returned home with me in their care. I didn't understand why until I was fully recovered a week later. T'Challa found a necklace I was wearing with a panther claw. He gave it to my mom to hopefully one day give to their kids. This was before they annulled their marriage."

The necklace hung around her neck. "I stayed with him in Wakanda for nearly six months. Training and learning about their culture. Last month he told me he wanted to present me as his daughter and heir to the five tribes of Wakanda. But he he first had to talk to the chiefs and get approval."

The figure nodded slowly, "That's tough. I don't know who most of who you talked about was, but I can tell they mean a lot to you."

"That's not even the worst part."

It raised where an eyebrow would havebeen if it had any, "No?"

"I wasn't supposed to be at the meeting, but I eavesdropped from a hidden room. I wanted to hear what they'd say. The chiefs told my dad I couldn't be his heir because I was born from a marriage that was annulled. that I would never be seen as a legitimate child. They didn't want an outsider on the throne."

The being sat back and said, "I cannot feel pity for something I have never experienced, but I can see that it is very hard for you, so I am sorry."

Evelyn bounded down the hallway, so blinded by adrenaline and panic, she didn't notice there were people in front of her. She tried to slow her speed but ended up tripping and colliding with one of the figures.

The white figure quickly staggered away, desperate not to be seen.

Asiza yelped, her hand throbbing because it was broken and cut

Hearing a yelp, Evelyn picked herself off the ground. "Sorry about that." she said breathlessly. She looked at the figure and realized who it was. "Asiza?" She realized why she cried out. "Ok, wow, that doesn't look good."

The white figure dashed around the corner, but peeked back to see if the two were ok.

She looked up. Did something go by....... probably just the lights Skeptical, Evelyn kept her eyes looking around while helping her friend up. "We need to get you to med bay, wherever that may be."

"I want to talk to Root."
