I recently had the honor and pleasure of interviewing Katrina Olan, an author from the Philippines, about her sci-fi novel, Tablay. It came out in her country in 2019, but is about to become available internationally. It was very intriguing getting to talk to her about how she combined hardcore science fiction with Filipino mythology, and learning about the significance of mechas in the Philippines was very enlightening to learn.
