I've started this one and I think my biggest hurdle is going to be the method of story telling. I'm 10% into the book and so far the entire story has been told in an interview format. It's made it hard to connect with anyone and I feel disconnected from the story. I'm going to keep on plugging on and see where this goes.
That's interesting Gord but yeah I can see why that would be hard for connecting with characters
I finished this up this morning and I'd say 2.5 stars rounded up. I thought it was an interesting idea but I was not a fan of the delivery method. I had some other issues but I'll put those all behind a spoiler wall. Be forewarned I will talk about story specific stuff in the spoiler.(view spoiler)

Seventeen years later, the mystery of the bizarre artifact remains unsolved - the object's origins, architects, and purpose unknown.
But some can never stop searching for answers.
Rose Franklin is now a highly trained physicist leading a top-secret team to crack the hand's code. And along with her colleagues, she is being interviewed by a nameless interrogator whose power and purview are as enigmatic as the relic they seek. What's clear is that Rose and her compatriots are on the edge of unravelling history's most perplexing discovery-and finally figuring out what it portends for humanity. But once the pieces of the puzzle are in place, will the result be an instrument of lasting peace or a weapon of mass destruction?
