Malice

what is best?

I read the first two of this series, then life happened and I lost track AND memory of what happens. Now I want to start listening on audible to John's books, and here is my question: What is the best series? Should I start over on Malice, then proceed to the others, which is what I feel safer doing? Or should I start one of his other series?

I am late coming to The Faithful and the Fallen, I started with the Bloodsworn Saga, which only has the first two books out. I feel you are pretty safe starting where ever you like.
I've only read Malice so far and I am staring Valor now and I feel Malice is good enough that a reread doesn't hurt!
maybe because i read this after reading hundreds of fantasy books, but fealt it was very average. books 2 and 3 much of the same. none of the characters are ones that will stick with me. and it seemed very wash, rinse, and repeat. good guys getting chased by bad guys, they battle, good guys get away. i dont find battle scene after battle very entertaining. it was obvious who the black sun was going to be, and the good an bad angels were so poorly done. nothing epic about them. very much overhyped series imo
